Hello, your alternator delivers 90A current, but normaly you can only charge the battery with 1/10 of the capacity. Did you use a charge controller or how is the alternator connected to the batteries? Maybe you can help me these question to answer
Hi! Lead-acid batteries do not need a charge regulator. If you look closely at my batteries, you will see the table drawn and the line "floating use". This is the maintenance voltage that holds the battery at 100% capacity and it is the same as alternator voltage. You can connect the alternator directly to the battery. Maybe a clarification: if the alternator is capable of delivering 90A, it does not mean that the battery will charge at 90A. The charging current depends on the charging voltage. Have a nice day!
Vrhunsko!! Jaz sem ubral drugo pot: prvega sem postimal za kolega (oz. naredil sem samo elektroniko - sprejemnik, arduino z relejnima karticama, zvezal regulatorje, sklopko, rele za zagon itd, hardver je naredil sam), sedaj se lotujem se malo manjsega projekta zase... Kapo dol za tole!
Živjo, sem pogledal vaše videe in vidim, da je to kar sta naredila s kolegom precej bolj resen stroj :). Sedaj, ko objavlam videe in se mi javlja vse več ljudi, sem presenečen koliko Slovencev se loteva podobnega projekta. Hvala za lep komentar!
Da li je moguce napraviti jednostavniju (jeftiniju) varijantu od motora za brisace automobila (4kom) koje bi kontrolisao arduino i h-bridge moduli sa aliexpressa? Da li uopste motori za brisace imaju dovoljno snage za ovako nesto.?
Poštovani, kod verzije 4x4 obično je problem što elektromotori imaju poteškoća s okretanjem kosilice na mjestu. Dakle, ako stavite motore od brisača, kosilica će se teško okretati. Ako je kosilica mala i lagana, možda. Generalno ne preporučujem.

Poštovani, odgovarajući alternator bi bio 24V 60A. Imajte na umu da motori trebaju malo više snage pod većim opterećenjem, a također je potrebno napuniti baterije i napajati još neku sitnu elektroniku ili svjetla. Unatoč tome, alternatoru je potrebna rezerva jer se ne preporučuje rad pod punim opterećenjem. Imao sam izbor između 55A i 90A u lokalnoj trgovini, odlučio sam se za 90A jer je razlika u cijeni bila minimalna. Nadam se da sam pomogao.

I got this snowblower tracks from local shop, but you can also find them online on ebay or aliexress. 2 tracks and 4 wheels cost 200$
