Hi Gregor. Thank you for this great video series. I'm planning to build a RC mower during the winter. You videos are very helpful for me. I have one question. Should I be considering 12V motors or only 24V? I understand that with 24v I will need lower current to drive the motors. But are there any other benefits? Or is 12v also fine? Thank you and greeting from Poland.

I see most lawnmower projects use 24V, which I am also planning to use (2 big wheels with motors in front and 1 XL castor wheel in the back). But do you think a 12V system could be just as good to use also? Only minor thing is that the 12V motors are 250W instead of the usual 350W of the 24V versions. But it is mostly the difficulty of finding an affordable 24V alternator that is pushing me more and more towards the 12V option... What are your thoughts on 12V vs 24V?

What's the microcontroller and motor driver used?

I bought a radiolink t8fb and can’t tell if it comes with motor driver. It’s my first rc lawnmower and wasn’t sure . Thanks

У меня гусиничная модель, 130кг , и генератор грелся, как думаете на эти моторы 2шт 24вольта ,общая 1300ватт 34.7+34.7ампера какой генератор и аккамулятор поставить поставить и возможно ли?

Cuando pulso en botón de encendido se funde el fusible de 30 amperios y no se el motivo. se que te facilito pocos datos pero no doy con el fallo y tampoco se mucho de cables y cosas de esas.

You can also control the max speed of your mower by adjusting a few setting in the transmitters EXPO setting area. By adjusting the rate of input around the center of the joystick you can reduce the max value of the stick input as well as slowing down the reaction of input for accurate slow speed control. I used motors from a Jazzy mobility chair and the 13 inch diameter wheels that chair came with. I also use a sabertooth 32A dual speed controller set up in mixed mode. With the Expo setting adjusted I have a very controllable mower.

Ya estoy a punto de recibir mi Kit Pixhawk 2.4.8 Estoy hecho un flan ya he mirado alguna traduccion de como actualizar el firmware ahi me mareo por que no se si se refieren a cargar el firmware del mission planner el arduriver.. o el propio del pixhawk y tambien estoy con el miedo de si ahi falla algo como solucionarlo Tambien estoy mirando plidar pero no se cual sera mas compatible si FTmini plus el Luna o el S no se cual de los 3 es adecuado los precios de un dia a otro cambian mucho a veces exagerado esto suben bajan.. vuelven a subir precios . Bueno Amigo espero estes bien que ganas tengo me puedas enseñar el proyecto que me hablaste estabas haciendo !.

Si todo va bien intentare ya el mes que viene comprar el pixhawk 2.4.8 lo mas dificil sera ver como me aclaro para conectar todo y desde el Pc con el mision planer ver como debo configurar las cosas ya que soy tan novato que esro salir del apuro y lograr hacer mi robot autonomo a ver si tu te animas y nos enseñas a tus alumnos aqui como hacer esto !.
