I think his ult needs some new interaction with Q: for example, it'd make no sense for him to cast Q if he's already connected to them via ult (unless you wanted it to be possible for him to have a "double connection"...?) Thus, maybe if you were to click Q while they're already connected by ult, it pulls them back and does a burst of healing? That way, you have some way to stick onto people (it'd suck if someone like master yi, kayn, yasuo, riven, etc.etc. can just run out of it like it's nothing) Or, another idea, Q during ult still throws out a tether like normal but if you hit someone you're already tethered to, you can move them in any direction you want like renata Q and it gives you a burst of healing and leaves them slowed afterwards? And in the event it's not someone you're already tethered to, you immediately pull them towards you (Dealing bonus damage) and now that champion is tethered to you? Other than that, I think this champion idea is great!
I was originally going to have his Q act like Maiev tether from Heroes of the Storm, where if they hit the edge of the radius they get yanked back in automatically and take a burst of damage. But decided not to because well if he is going to be peeling for his teammates, you don’t wanna be forced to pull someone back in! Making his ultimate do something else is necessary I agree. I think his ultimate is the least synergistic part of his kit. Maybe instead of tethers it could be a steroid that grants AOE shielding when damage is dealt, since Aatrox and naafiri both have steroid ults aswell
I like the passive, but most enemies wouldn't pick him up after maybe the first or second time, if they wanted to avoid the ally from picking it up then the enemies would zone your team from your shield. What if you got to decide whether to "leech" off the enemy who killed you or if you jumped into an ally, this would allow for interesting gameplay choices where you have to decide whether you want to protect an ally or if you want to debuff an enemy. I really like the rest. Congrats!
honestly this is so much better than my idea. I was kinda locked up on the idea of a host having to "touch " the weapon like in lore. Infesting enemies or allies on death probably works a lot better for promoting priority and in gameplay. I'd probably change it to this if i ever redid the abilities !
Cool kit. Heres what I'd change: Giving big shields seems really swingy. Im not sure if im a fan of that. -passive grants armor and magic resist instead of a shield, so its better for him to dive in and die early instead of having a fight changing shield on an important target. More resistances also syngergizes with the whole lifesteal aspect. -Q should move him and his opponent closer, like Nautilus Q. I can easily imagine it being slow, and you can also use his W to move them around a bit as you go towards them -Have his W grant magic and armor to allies instead of a shield Everything else seems cool.

What if he had a second Ult where he is able to use it when attached to an ally and if there's at most 10 seconds until he revives. This Ult instantly revives him next to the ally. Kind of like Shen Ult.
I personally think that would be a little too strong, maybe he could come back if the enemy that picked it up died? As if he’s absorbing the host yknow?
Naafiri is alright from a gameplay perspective but she really is painfully boring in terms of voicelines and lore. Need more tragic darkin like Aatrox !
