I don't carry, but how much do you think the loaded gun, extra clip, and holder weighs? I would think it may be a tough-ask for a belt to not sag carying that. The double stitched ones are beautiful, so I'm looking at them! Great review, and thank you!
For bigger guns, get the Extreme belt by Hanks like VINO9411 did (see his comment) in order to get more years of carry use. The Extreme belt has thicker leather than the Gunner and Everyday belts by Hanks.
definitely some inconsistencies on their site, they say the Bison which is double construction is thinner on paper, than the Xtreme which is one piece. Which i find hard to believe. But people reviewed the gunner and the daily belt and found out the stats were not correct in thickness. The one thing i never hear people talking about is the smell does it smell of leather? that is a big point imo. If it doesn't it could be pullup leather which most likely it isn't but still

I own a Hanks Extreme belt 3 years old and still love it!
The belt still holds up! Obviously leather wears in, but it’s still a great leather belt!

I would say it’s faint, but not strong. I’ve had the belt for awhile though. Would need to see a new one again before saying for sure.
