Shout out to all the legends with tics or Tourettes coming to my shows. Everyone has been super lovely, and i'm grateful people feel comfortable attending the shows, you're all great sports!
You're a bloody legend mate... the way you engage with the crowd is so good generally, but the way you make people with tics feel comfortable and accepted is just the best.
This shows why comedians need to be appreciated. The way you’re able to bring people together is absolute magic. Keep going Brother! You’re doing more than you even know.
The "I'll fuck your dad" "show us your tits" ... That might be sweet Anita.
They all have a great sense of humor as well. Some of them droppin punchlines fr 😂
Love how you had so much fun with them and sharing this to everyone, be able to laugh about it Awesome❤
I love how Luke was just a decent human being to the first person and the entirety of Tourettes camp was like "fuck yeah we're getting front row tickets for this legend"
My kid is the HA HA one! Normally we can’t go to shows or the movies because of her tics but his show was somewhere she knew would be ok. It’s why he’s suddenly getting so many tourettes audience members. Thanks Luke for being so good about it!
Your daughter is such a gem 🙌🙌
the way he respectfully incorporates it into his show is absolutely tastefully hilarious!
Crazy how accepting stand up is when your able to laugh at yourself, with others
Her comedic timing is amazing
@@TheKreature13666 It seems like people with tourettes also get set off by good comedic timing moments, right? Idk if maybe it's like unconsciously our brain might be like "oh something is missing during that silence" so we want to fill it up, but because they have no control over it, their brain just does it for them? I would love to see if there is a study on that. Because their tourettes seems to align with very good comedic timing most of the time it's insane
"Probably cause the soup was endangered" was freaking brilliant!
I dropped my phone laughing at this! 😂
I started crying with laughter 😂
Love how he got himself with that one too
The fact that he couldn't even hold it together a second later was the funniest part.
They would have served it in China
His instant “no, you’re fine, don’t apologise, thanks for coming” every time is so genuine and must make them feel at ease immediately. I can only imagine how much anxiety you’d have walking around with very noticeable tics, especially ones that are screaming or very vulgar. You never know how people will react. He seems like an absolute legend. Love finding more Aussie comedians to support, higher chance of me seeing them in person 😂😂
There's this German guy with tourette's who shouts "bomb" a lot and it's why he can't travel by plane pretty much at all. I have so much respect for people who have these inconvenient tics and it's nice to see people like Luke being open-minded about it.
“Gathering funeral guest” is a great way to say “making friends”😂
Lol that's funny
“mom i met this guy who’s gonna come to my funeral”
I love that he makes the tourette's community feel comfortable and included, he is pretty talented to be able to come up with jokes on the spot after each tic.
my heart was warmed by his kindness ^^
"I have tourettes"
"All good"
WOOH
"You dont, so shut the fuck up."
I am dying.
I love how he himself was tickled by the endangered soup joke he made. That was very good.
This is so wholesome.
11:20 When he started doing a Robert Irwin impression, my dumb brain thought, “Main, he nailed that accent.” Until I remembered that he’s Australian, and that’s not an accent. That’s just his voice lol
The lady with the "HAHA" tic might as well start her own gig with the masterful way she told that Tourettes Camp story! That was GOLD!
THIS is how you make jokes about people with disabilities and neurological disorders without offending them. Love how people that suffer from this have the confidence to come to your shows because of how respectful you are while making them and everyone around them laugh. First I’ve seen of you and I thought this was hysterically funny. The funniest thing I’ve seen all night in fact. 😄
This is actually just a 20min ad for Luke's original Tourettes video. Literally every clip, "I actually had a recent clip that went quite viral". "HAHA"
Its good that he explains it to the audience.
ive actually met the "daffodil bitch" person in real life, turns out shes good mates with one of my mates🤣
"ohh you've been, i've heard about this camp" top line
The dude who said specifically that he’d seen the videos and it’d given him confidence to go, that’s so nice. That’s the absolute positive atmosphere any event needs and the acceptance anyone struggling with disability deserves. Shame they’re limited in where they feel comfortable to go but I’m glad good kind people help fun opportunities still be there
I love how he always asks if it is okay for them and apologizes. This is just peak kindness.
I think you've found your people, and I sincerely hope you will be able to start sharing your shows at those Tourettes camps. Many of them need your humor and your openness and acceptance, and I am sure you will receive a hundredfold what you give at any of their events. I don't think this is a coincidence. Many times we find our special purposes in this way, and I know several who have received great comfort from you in how you've handled these exchanges and experiences. Thanks for being such a great example and for being so hilarious.
Luke might have a heart attack from laughter going to Tourettes Camp, and so might some of the guests, dude reacts so well with them it's great. lolol
“KICK IT” I would be crying laughing
I love comedians that roll with anything going on cuz it’s so organically funny it’s hard not to laugh. And he isn’t so targeting that people feel uncomfortable
I love how comfortable you are with all types of people, this is part of what makes you such a great comic
In America they call that a weakness
@IDoABitOfTrollin no, we really don't, *you* call that a weakness
I'd seen a couple of these, but I didn't realise how many there were! Wholesome and hilarious at the same time.
"Ive seen your stuff about it (tics) and its given me confidence to come" 🔥
As someone with tourettes I love that he feels comfortable making fun of it. You can tell he's joking about the situation not the disability and it warms my heart.
The last guy with tourettes was so cute then the daddy 😂had me cackling
"take me out to dinner first"😂
I don't have tourettes but I do have respiratory failure and this gave me a chance to laugh very deeply for the first time in a long time. That will help me clear this pneumonia and you've already brought up my oxygen saturation. Meaning you're literally healing me by helping me laugh. Thank you
I guess sometimes laughter really is the best medicine!
Awh 🥲 get well soon!
@justanothercomment as long as you don't have explosive diarrhea lol jk
Sorry, really bad joke lol
Feel better soon! 💐
@@NixyRose72 oh my, hahaha 🤣
I swear, people with tourette syndrome, or tics in general, have some of the best comedic timing I've ever seen xD
I have Tourette’s and have learned to let staff at a comedy show know so the performer is prepared. I’m crying so much from laughing!
Love seeing Luke be a great ally to people with tics. Thanks to the people in the audience for having the courage to share their experiences and give us these funny moments. I hope we can create more safe spaces like this for you.
"two-inch punsiher" is comedy gold. This woman should just let her tourette's run a comedy special
Not sure if that alone would be enough for a show, but some of these people could team up, 2-3 people occasionally causing each other to tic
"Two-inch punisher" "Ha ha!"
I've had tics for about 4 years now, most likely Tourette's Syndrome, and it really puts me at ease to see you interacting with other people who have tics. I am absolutely terrified of judgement and misunderstanding so I have spent a lot of energy hiding them to the point it has simply become habit. I've probably had about 90% of the tics that are heard in this video at some point over the past 4 years, from wolf whistling to the twitter tune, cursing, to loud obnoxious HAHA's (which generally do coincide with an insult). Most of my current tics are whole sentences that are somehow weaved into general conversation. I'm used to them, so it takes a moment to realise I have to brush it off for others to understand that I'm not encouraging child abuse as a resolution to an unrelated baking problem...
Anyway, congrats on the show, thanks for making us laugh and building a confidence most of us absolutely need!
You had me in stitches with "encouraging child abuse as a resolution to an unrelated baking problem"... It feels like you're playing real life cards against humanity!
First time watching this guy and legit thought the title meant he was being heckled by his own tourettes whilst trying to get through a comedy performance. Still a funny video though 😂😂
Same but this was even better! Lovely and funny video!
As someone with Tourette’s, I really enjoy the compassion and true genuine openness you have with your audience. Unfortunately for me, mine are much more physical so I look like I’m having a stroke while making goat screams. The bonus is that I have a stellar Arnold Schwarzenegger impression!
I love all the Legends with tics that came to the show and were brave enough to talk about and normalize tourettes/tics. I also love the fact that Luke treated them like he would anyone else, and joked along with them.
Love how you are making people with Tourette's feel comfortable enough to come to your shows and I love how once they start having tics they steal (in a good way) the spotlight and add hilarity to the show! ❤
Probably the most wholesome video to ever contain dick jokes.
"daffodil b*tch" is now my new favorite phrase 💕
18:09 "phew phew" 😂
20:59 "chuffed" sounding like Mumbo Jumbo, chuffed to bits 🖤
"Waiting until marriage-" "NO, waiting until I decide!" As it should be
There are many issues with life in the 21st Century, and serious problems with lack of privacy and horrible behavior online, but one thing that’s absolutely *fantastic* is that people out of “the norm”-Tourette’s, autism, LGBT folks, the neurodiverse, historically-oppressed minorities, etc-can find a community. That was so hard when I was younger, and it does my old heart good to see folks reaching out and supporting each other.
No matter what some Boomers might think, this GenXer firmly believes Millennials & GenZ will save us because of things like this.
Can I just say that as a proud member of gen z, we fuck with y'all gen x so hard. you guys are so freaking lovely. much love!!
I love how he always asks if they are comfortable talking about it instead of just grilling in them about it. He doesn’t know them and he doesn’t wanna make them feel uncomfortable, so he’ll just Move on if they don’t wanna talk about it but if they do, then he’s gonna have a lovely conversation with them about it to understand and know about it better. People like that really make me feel so much more comfortable talking about my disabilities or “weird” traits.
I love the video ❤
He incorporates them into his show so damn well. He is genius for this stuff. Well done!
My partner doesn't have tourette's, but he does have a tic. When he gets super excited and happy he gets really jerky moments and knocks on his legs and head really fast. It embarrasses him so much that he doesn't like getting into social situations where others can see him outside of family events. I'd love to take him to one of your shows, but we live in the US, so seeing one of your shows might be a bit difficult.
Hopefully you’ve got the next Tourette’s camp booked already. The ability to incorporate anyone into the show is special.
ENDANGERED SOUP oh man i love it
I love the “thank you for coming” every single time
6:40 same thing happened to me, got seen for tics and seizures and sent home with no diagnoses
Okay, info dump for other people with these symptoms, check out Functional Neurological Disorder, formally known as conversion disorder. It's one of those disorders that doctors are very dismissive of, but it's very real
i think this is massive , a comic has a script and timing and the fact he never looks annoyed and embraces it speaks volumes. Never seems to break cadence either. I dont suffer with tourettes but i can imagine it can make you second guess public outings, the fact this guy has gone out of his way to make make them comfortable! big props
This is awesome! People with tourettes shouldn't have to be scared to go places, and I'm so glad this is giving people the confidence and support they need❤
This was so amazing. Humanity, comedy, inspiration and endangered soup.
The last guy was the best. hahah.. " Daddy"...
I watched this just for a laugh, I finished it ligit being touched when the dude said he had got the confidence to come to the shower thanks to Luke. 10/10 absolute legend. From the UK, keep going W*nker
My autism causes me to have tics so it’s really nice to see all the support in the comments. Mine are almost always really physical, it feels like I’m not right in my own skin and I have to scrunch up certain muscles or squeeze my eyes shut. It weirds a lot of people out and since my autism isn’t obvious to most people so they don’t really get it.
Really opened my eyes to how people who have Tourettes don't feel comfortable going to events like this ordinarily and also very funny
The kind of inclusivity you have created is golden, you're awesome
Luke, it’s lovely how you behave with your audience members. Truly. As an autistic guy with an autistic kid, it’s genuinely heartwarming. Thank you.
Can’t wait for you to come to the US and maybe experience American Tourette’s. 😊
wholesome and hilarious. an awesome comic that must make his shows so fun to be at :)
Oh my god the girl at 14 mins needs to go on tour with you and just hand her a mic. Her tics would make the best hype man for every joke!
I could watch this all day. Well done Luke for dealing with this so well. Unintended voice for normalising Torrets.
Tics + Aussies are the best combo tbh
I died laughing at this, I'm crying with laughter and can't breath
Friday night upload of a compilation... sign me up fuck yeh!
I love how he responds to the tics and is so genuinely nice. Like people felt comfortable enough to seek out his shows. Plus he’s actually funny
I had a friend with tourettes, one day we were chilling out in town, we had been for a few joints and were sharing a bottle of cider when he started calling a group of lasses near us "prick teasing cunts" (he is gay so this was super funny to me) so I apologised explained he had tourettes and asked if they wanted to come for a joint. had a nice time and I ended up getting one of their numbers. an hour after they left it suddenly dawned on me that all of his tics were non verbal. what an absolute legend he was.
This is hands down one of the funniest videos I have ever seen! Thanks for sharing and greetings from Germany.
i met someone at my local roller rink who had Tourette's. We sat right next to each other since they were just meshing well with the friend group i was with. All of a sudden my friends gasp and the new buddy was apologizing super hard. I asked why, because i just thought they grabbed my shoulder hard. No they almost bit my neck LMAO IT WAS SO FUNNY BUT I FELT SO BAD FOR THEM, THATS GOTTA BE SUCH A SHITTY TICK
Endangered Soup would make a great band name.
this is simultaneously the most wholesome and funniest video I’ve watched in a long time
So cool man. Thank you for including and working Tourette's people into your set. You are so cool and I'm sure they appreciate the understanding.
compassionate and hilarious - what a combo!!!
It’s gotta be such a pain for the person dealing with that in their own life. But it’s so cool that they can laugh about it.
that's sooo funny, you're a great person ❤
Probably one of the most entertaining comedy videos I’ve ever seen, couldn’t stop laughing. God bless these wonderful people.
the pew pew pew is the best
God i fucking love this tourretts should not be something people should be ashamed of and its amazing to see some not minimalize but also be willing to have fun with it
As an autistic who stims aggressively at shows, it would be intresting to just reserve a section of seating for neurodivers people at the show and just watch what happens
We have those already, they are called furry cons.
@@Katt1n I'm sorry was this comment supposed to be a jab at neurodivergent people? Because not only is it a bad one, it doesn't make any fucking sense. If you're going to try to offend someone, at least use an insult that makes sense lmao.
@@Katt1nCOMPLETELY VALID POINT LMAO
“Neurodivers” sounds like an advanced form of stagedivers 😅
@@levischorpioen true, they just spelled it wrong though lol. It’s supposed to be Neurodiverse :)
Oh man i didnt realize it was going to be the entire video!! This is wholesome , we should all be this kind
Best comedy compilation i've seen.
This was actually so wholesome haha
Whoever said "kicK it" at camp is a legend
Deep down we all think it xD
It's almost 4 a.m.and I was laughing my a$$ off ! thanks for that xD
I like that luke explain to the audience what's going on it actually bring awareness to other people about tourette's syndrome and what their life look like. We need to normalize this no need to be ashamed or apologetic actually it totally fine for me.
this was just so wholesome and hilarious, absolutely amazing Luke!
this makes me feel soo seen and accepted Please come to the UK!!!
I love how you laugh WITH people and not at them. That's the way to go, feels really good to watch. I don't have tic's ( I think?? ) but I do have autism so I feel I can say I relate on a level.
This video is so fucking wholesome.
its amazing that they have found a public space they feel comfortable in. good shit dude. + you are funny as hell
lmao when he tells the drunk heckler to stop 😂 i love this
I was in the audience the night of HAHA, was interesting
This is amazing! I love that the one guy said it gave him confidence to come to the show!
I love how you ask people if they’re okay talking about it. Really makes me feel warm and fuzzy. 😊
Just found you and already can tell, you are such a good person! I loved this vid!
I don’t know why but these videos with him interacting with audience members who have Tourettes are my absolute favorite
Luke is such a legend. Always so lovely to everyone. Would love to see you in the States!
14:27 this whole interaction was hilarious
There is a LOT of irony in the way you keep saying "you don't have to talk about this" to people with tourettes! I love it :D
You don't even need to write bits anymore - they are literally just showing up at your gigs and giving you the punchlines! 🤣🤣🤣
That Wanker one then the Haha after was great. Had my die laughing
This is actually extremely wholesome and i love it.
I love the switch from "about to strike" to "Oh". That emotional switch can be so intense. My husband has claustrophobia but I didn't know at the time of this story. My friend was staying over at our house and needed to shower, she used the large bathroom which is my husband's and I use my smaller bathroom as a mini bedroom (once our son was able to walk this is the only place I could lock the door & do art without him terrorizing me so I have all my art supplies in there and it's cluttered. Anyway, she is in his bathroom and my husband has to poop suddenly and asks for me to let him, so I go out to my bedroom & a few seconds later he walks out looking frazzled & said "I can't, it's disgusting in there" and he speed walks out. I immediately get upset and try to take a few breaths and calm down, but I was easy to offend and I stormed up to him and started going off, "IF IT WASN'T FOR ME YOUR ROOM WOULD BE MORE DISGUSTING THAN MY BATHROOM, I DO THE BEST I CAN.." He starts doing the hand flapping thing and going "No no no that's not what I meant, the room was too small for me and it made me panic" my bathroom has an uncomfortably placed wall so if you sat on it you wouldn't be able to raise your elbows out. I was crying and ready to defend my dignity then all of a sudden I have no reason to be mad. I apologized for freaking out & my yelling got my friend to get out of the shower and so my lovely husband got to poop in his comfortable bathroom. Lol
Tourette’s camp is so terrible😭 I enjoyed it but the amount of stemming off of each others tics was too much and hilarious at the same time
