- In a different style video, Connor takes an old and rusted out 7x12 utility trailer and fully restores it to a road worthy trailer ready to haul rental equipment, mounds of wood chips, or any fun toys we may pick up along the way. Please let me know if you enjoyed this style of video, I'd love to add a few extra projects to the channel!

"And just like that..." you said, but you worked so hard on it and I'm amazed at what you achieved in what seems like a short amount of time. The trailer looks brand new!
Haha it felt like it went quick!
I too enjoyed this video, as well as your others. I'm looking forward to more diy projects around the cabin, camper or whatever you two decide to do. Keep the content coming.
Thanks for the support!
The trailer looks 100% better.
You must miss Amelia a lot~ will she be in the next video?
Stay safe & well.
Thank you! And yes, she’s back already!
Well done, I love to see some of the younger guys turning wrenches and welding!!! I remember my dad teaching me how to pack bearings. I never learned how to weld but I love watching it!
It sure is a great skill to have!
Thank you for sharing this video. You did a great job. Be safe and God Bless
Great job! Love all the tips when you replaced the wheel bearings. Those are keepers.
Thank you! Always a good idea to keep things in working order!
Connor, in watching you do the trailer rebuild, all I can say is ~ great work! I could tell by watching you that you've had a good bit of experience working on trailers, welding, wiring, etc. Nice job and it is ready for another (25) years of use or many road miles! This will be a great tool for you as you work around your new home/cabin. Keep the content coming, really enjoy your video's!
Thank you! And it sure is better than the day we picked it up, it’ll have a great second life around here. Appreciate the support!
I love that you took something old and rusty and gave it new life. You worked so hard on it and it will be a workhorse for you now!! Job well done. Thank you for letting me observe the process! Look forward to all of your guy’s content.
Thanks for the kind words!
Great job, and great work. Thoroughly enjoyed "watching" you work😉. And yes, loved this and all your content. 🎉
It's great seeing maintenance videos, too! I do all my own, so it's always good to watch and learn 👌
Definitely the best way to go! Thanks Christine!
You are a very handy guy! Good Job
Enjoyable video, glad the young generation is picking up the skill set of doing it yourself....always use new cotter pins , use the right size for the intended application, rule of thumb is fill 70% of the hole minimum. Seems like you had some farming experience along the way :)
That’s a good rule of thumb!
Awesome work! Love it, still good hard working young men out there.
Thank you, Steve!
Good call on the trailer.
It is one of the most Universal gadgets you can buy.
One can even transport a pickup camper on one....
Some plywood walls, and it can become a wood chip transporter.
I just wanted to also mention building solid relations with neighbors worth them, is very wise.
When you live out in the country, your social reputation is Paramount. You will find that the way you are treated locally largely depends on this.
Well done
Look at all the skills you are developing young man. Good for you. Ive enjoyed watching for cabin home base development from WI.
Thanks for the support!
Nice job. I'd recommend using Plasti Dip on the rims to finish it off.
Awesome job conner❤
Thank you!
I liked the tutorial on repacking the wheel bearings.
Thanks! I used to “teach” wheel bearing packing in competitions through FFA. Full circle moment
Great video. Thanks for all the information.
My 76 year old is sure enjoying your video on restoring the trailer. You have skills and knowledge for doing this project. My husband has done a lot of this kind of thing since we have lived on properties which required a lot of skills. Your trailer looks great and you made it safer to use.
You could’ve just put some lipstick on the pig and called it good, but you took the extra time and now have a trailer will reward you for many years to come! Great job there sir!
As always, stay safe out there…..
Thanks, Mike! Definitely could have, but if I’m going to drive with it I’m going to make sure it’s all in working order. Have a great week!
Loved this video. Shows your skills! More please.
We’ll try to work a few of these in throughout the year!
Nice Job!!! Keep the vids coming!!
Great job. Miss Amelia.
She’ll be back in the next one!
Great job... Love the pole barn...
Very good Video, I really enjoyed it!
I’m impressed, well done.
Thank you!
Wow! That was impressive!! Excellent transformation!! Well done!!
Thank you so much!
That's a lot of work. You didn't skimp on anything. It was very relaxing to watch! Good job!
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Very interesting. Enjoyed it.
Nice Job. Keep an eye on tire tread wear. Dropping the axles could put them out of alinement.
Agreed, they both sat in the original holes, but I’ll keep an eye on it!
I love these kind of videos
Glad you enjoyed it!
Incredible skills Connor!
Thank you!!
Really enjoy video's like this. Great job Connor❤❤

Very interesting watching you restore the trailer great job. Would like to see more diy videos
Thank you and good to know!
I am really liking these videos of your new cabin and all you're doing to make things safer.
You are right the price of trailers has gone crazy. I bought a 10’ dump trailer 8 years ago for $5500. Now they are over 10k. Nice job on the trailer, plus a great deal!
They’re expensive, but a good trailer will last a lifetime!
Looks good so far. 👍
Thanks 👍
Well done Conner ! I’m very impressed😊
You did a fantastic job on your trailer 👏 👍
Thank you so much!
This was an informative video. I would like to see more. Great job on this trailer. Thank you.
Good to know, thanks for the input!
That’s a lot of work!… good for you doing that….!

Heavy Duty Wheel Lock for traveling and storing
Agreed!
Awesome job. You made it look so easy.
Thank you, and its not too difficult of work, just a lot of time!
Good video. I like the fix-it/repair videos.
Glad you like them!
Why do you leave your camper jacked up? Why not lower it and put blocks under it and relieve the pressure off the jacks.
Turned out very nice you will get a lot of use out of that trailer. How did you do on your budget. I liked the content
I believe the final spend was around $1800, not bad!
@@LivingLargeCamping no that is not bad at all for all that you did and all new leaf springs I have been thinking about changing out my leaf springs
@@lvmtb Definitely a good idea if they’re pretty rusted. I wouldn’t have trusted a heavy load on the old springs
Lots of work! We miss Amelia. Lol
So did I! She’s back already for the next video
Great job 👏! Want a job? 😜🤣😜
Haha thanks!
More wife face time!!!
Oh just slap some paint on her and no one will know it’s rusty
