You say ABBY has no heart because of that scene? You're not that bright are you? I believe Owen thought he could grab the gun from Eliie because he had done so earlier in the story. Its crazy that he didn't factor how determined Ellie must be considering where they left her.
Both could’ve choose to keep their child as safe as possible and they both chose to fight knowing it would take them out of probability of the safest choice.
this scene makes me realize how much Ellie was transforming into Joel when he did the same thing to the men in the part where he was recovering and some people took Ellie
She literally attacked her with a knife, that’s an incredibly dumb thing to do when you are pregnant, even Owen attempting to disarm her put Mel in danger and got himself killed
Let’s be honest if the story had Abby get saved by Ellie when she was too weak to escape the infected at the start of part 2 and Abby killed Ellie in front of Joel hypothetically if they somehow knocked him down to force him to watch in an eye for an eye situation (unlikely I know) Joel would’ve killed everyone in that group without a hint of regret if it meant getting revenge on another militia group who killed his second daughter and that fight in the cinema where Abby overpowered Ellie would’ve been an example of dad strength the way he would’ve been whooping her ass lol
She was about to pull out ol Joel's move. This almost played out like the scene where Joel has the two scouts from David and he tells one to point on the map where David is, after dude points the location he kills both of them
When you hit someone's father figure with a golf club until he died a painful death, you really shouldn't expect that she is going to even notice your bump, If they told her earlier this wouldn't have happened.
Give her what she wants and beg her to spare the unborn child vs try to overpower her and risk dying anyways. Guess the guy was really confident about being able to take the gun from her to not even try to agree to her demand. Well too bad he made a dumb choice.
A good thing to think about is how Ellie learned this from Joel like how he used it in the first game. Her flaw was how she wasn’t able to stay calm, when Joel did it he kept calm and it made him more intimidating than if he was freaking out like Ellie did. (Js a small theory basically)
First time you see Mel she is lying unconscious in a sleeping bag next to a knife. Manny is doing the same next to a gun and Abby is again doing the same but is choking and wakes up. The foreshadowing in this game is incredible!
ellie seeing that she just killed someone who is pregnant while having dina who is also pregnant must be horrible because she knows that this could happen to dina
@@generallyuseless5821 my question is how would they know where she is on the map? I think at this point Abbie is on the seraphite island and isn’t in contact with her allys.
To everyone saying those two are dumb/its not ellies fault: The point of this moment is not about fault, regardless of the blame of the whole situation Ellie stuck her knife in a pregnant woman’s neck, that will cause some serious mental damage no matter who’s fault it is. One of the biggest themes of the game is a back and forth revenge match. The message its trying to portray is that if you keep going for that revenge your only perpetuating violence that will lead to more violence while becoming a monster, that was the point of this scene.
Ellie didnt commit any revenge here. Its self defense. She has nothing to feel bad about. The only people responsible for those 2s deaths is themselves.
That dude Owen is one of the worst characters ever in game history Cheats on his pregnant girlfriend then gets her killed trying to protect his trans girlfriend 😂
I always think how overtime as Ellie kills more and more WLFs and more of Ellie's friends and family, her still living ones hear about how gruesome their deaths were from reports and start to slowly realize how much they fucked up. Owen was a nice guy, as nice as any of the WLF anyway, but he got both of them killed.
Smart play was to tell Ellie then go after her once Mel was safe and see if he could catch her before she got to Abby.
Or let Ellie have her vengeance. After all it's not as if Abby didn't deserve it.
I got chills remember when Joel interrogated David’s men looking for Ellie and he said he’ll die if his partner didn’t match his mark

This actually makes me really sad hearing that Owen said she was pregnant. It was sad to begin with but man… it hits deeper. Yes, I’ve played this games too many times to count and this is the first I’m hearing the word “pregnant.” Out of Owen in this moment
I have to keep saying this: *never* wrestle with someone who has a loaded gun
For thoes saying she didn't care that mel was pregnant. She did, you can tell by the worry we saw at the end of this clip and just after this she panics and thinks about dina.
If only they would have mentioned that Mel is pregnant.Abby still has no heart, she knows that Dina is pregnant but she is still ready to kill her but Lev stopped her.I wish Ellie had just killed Abby, she didn't but it's so sad.
You say ABBY has no heart because of that scene? You're not that bright are you? Abby only was ready to kill Dina because she thought Ellie killed Mel on purporse, that's why Abby was angry and wanted to kill Dina in that moment. You can't blame her for that when Ellie has been equally heartless all game.
@@Bloody_Cake.Ellie shows more remorse than Abby ever had lmfao. Abby literally killed her own faction for 2 strangers she met for 2 days. Abby is a snake. Period.
@Bloody_Cake. Ellie was distraught learning she killed a pregnant woman, Abby was about to do it willingly. Ellie was angry about Joel, how does abbys anger over Mel excuse her being a shit person?
abby wasn’t heartless, she spare ellie and tommy twice (even because of lev) she only focus on her revenge towards joel while ellie slaughter everyone on purpose except mel and owen
@@zul6227 except all those people tried to kill her in those cases

I don't know if anyone noticed, but at that moment when she says: point out where she is and you'd better point to the same places. Joel also said this when Ellie was kidnapped by those cannibals
The worst death in the WLF is Alice, couldn’t care less about Mel and Owen, let’s go Team Ellie 💪😎
Ellies reaction to accidentally killing a baby seemed so realistic
Both of them were sooooooo dumb here.
1. Neither of them mentioned that she's pregnant. Ellie is a killer but she's NOT heartless.
2. Attacking her was the wrong way to handle the situation.
3. I get Abby is your friend but telling Ellie where she is WAS the best option.
4. Both of them seemed to be done with this whole thing. Neither of them really seemed to care anymore.
5. Ellie wouldn't have killed you without reason. They weren't a threat to her so why make yourself one.
Edit: Damn, didn't expect to get so many likes and comments.
how thry can know ellie is a good person

@@rugu2368well considering what happened the last time they met. She could've beat the shit outta them before asking questions but she straight up walked up to them and asked.
First of all there's no way they would argue with an angry stranger and tell them about the pregnancy as if it will change their mind and second Mel was actually going to give Abby up but Owen intervened
This game is basically the snowball effect of killing people.
I believe Owen thought he could grab the gun from Eliie because he had done so earlier in the story. Its crazy that he didn't factor how determined Ellie must be considering where they left her.
Joel taught her well
They really tried to kill Ellie💀

Ellie has plot armor

The map thing was a complete reference to Joel when he asked that guy in the first game where Ellie was and his buddy better say the same thing
- She's pregnant
- OMG!!!! Triple kill!!
I get why Ellie feels guilty for killing a pregnant person, but also- you were gunna die don't stress about it.

Ellie said she would let them live if they cooperated but they didn’t cooperate so Owen and Mel brought that on themselves!
Then again, you can’t trust some people. They might just want you calm and useful before they execute you
Let’s be honest if the story had Abby get saved by Ellie when she was too weak to escape the infected at the start of part 2 and Abby killed Ellie in front of Joel hypothetically if they somehow knocked him down to force him to watch in an eye for an eye situation (unlikely I know) Joel would’ve killed everyone in that group without a hint of regret if it meant getting revenge on another militia group who killed his second daughter and that fight in the cinema where Abby overpowered Ellie would’ve been an example of dad strength the way he would’ve been whooping her ass lol
I would love to play that version of the game rather then what we got

She was about to pull out ol Joel's move. This almost played out like the scene where Joel has the two scouts from David and he tells one to point on the map where David is, after dude points the location he kills both of them
Joel was the main character in the game, so most people won't blame him. It's the protagonist bias in the players.

That scene escalated so quickly
She got a killstreak. She can now call in a UAV
“Friendly UAV online”
Ironic considering that Dina almost got killed
“Point to where she is on this map.”
If somebody asked me that I would say, “I literally have no clue, I’m not the FBI.”
I imagine people in the game are better at it. Maps are probably more important post apocalypse than they are rn.
@@generallyuseless5821 my question is how would they know where she is on the map? I think at this point Abbie is on the seraphite island and isn’t in contact with her allys.

"Point to where she is on the map" like father like daughter
I recently played this game for the first time and i was surprised by it, dude even the NPC’s in each encounter has personality and names
Imagine your friend tries to wrestle a gun from somebody and you just stand there, and then draw a knife afterwards
To everyone saying those two are dumb/its not ellies fault:
The point of this moment is not about fault, regardless of the blame of the whole situation Ellie stuck her knife in a pregnant woman’s neck, that will cause some serious mental damage no matter who’s fault it is.
Okay I know Ellie killed them but the immediate regret when she found out the lady was pregnant was soo saddd
That method of asking both of them to make sure they r telling the truth is what Joel made in the first game , nostalgia ..

I always think how overtime as Ellie kills more and more WLFs and more of Ellie's friends and family, her still living ones hear about how gruesome their deaths were from reports and start to slowly realize how much they fucked up. Especially when they might have started learning that Ellie wasn't the only one slaughtering WLFs looking for more.

@@chicnstu6157 That is true, I guess they were trying to develop these characters through the lens of Abby.
