THIS IS WHY I LEFT MEMORIAL AND got my transplant at St Luke's! Memorial kept stalling on me though I passed all the test. The coordinator was disinterested and forgot about me. I got my kidney from St. Luke's after two weeks on the list. Don't give up! There are other hospitals in Houston and Galveston as well. The life expectancy is not that short on dialysis but I am praying for a miracle kidney for you and everyone!
I went to the Websites and researched what "a pattern of irregularities in the donor criteria" means. It's rather vague and apparently it only affects Memorial Hermann, since Methodist isn't suspending their transplants. My family has been through the transplant process with my daughter's kidney transplant back on 2018, unfortunately during lockdown she went into rejection and lost the kidney. She is again on the list and we only use Memorial Hermann because of the relationship we built with the doctors and surgeons over the past decade. However, we have been brokenhearted over the loss of phenomenal doctors on the transplant team that have left the hospital and were replaced by TBH some rather crappy ones. I'm also concerned by the fact that one of the new UNOS panel is an ex Coca cola exec... What do they know about medicine? Why are they being so vague about what the irregularities are?
She’s absolutely right my husband waited for eight years on the kidney list and we went outside that depends on the hospital. If you go in front of somebody, I’ll get on the fairly new list but she writes you had to be ready for a phone call but that’ll be a class action suit for everyone that who been on this list for all this time to be switched because the negligent opinion of a doctor and their board turn around and supportthis shame on them
There’s also a lawsuit going on involving Alabama prisons and families receiving their deceased loved ones who were incarcerated with missing organs…. I’m not sure if these cases are related but they both are happening at the same time

Corporate runned and operated. Memorial Hermann Hospital is a disgrace! Their prority is profit margins, and not its patients!
For-profit healthcare is corrupt as hell.

People use power and influence to shoulder their way to the top of the list

Has anyone been severely harmed or died as a result?
