    Hi ! I can say that I just watched another good video.
    In slow traffic, in the city, does this walk and stop assistance work?
    Big hug from Brazil.

    • @lsft
      @lsft  2 года назад

      It works well. If it stops long you will need to press the gas pedal, but normally it's much better than the previous gen. It feels more natural and not as rough stop and go.

    • @lsft

      It always work even if you don't have any EV range. Is it giving you an error?

  • @stacishort
    @stacishort 2 года назад +1

    The adaptive cruise control stop on red traffic light and resumed on its own? Did you have to brake at stop manually?

    • @lsft
      @lsft  2 года назад +2

      You will need to step on the brake if there is not any car in front of you. It does not read the red light. If you have a car in front of you, it will stop and resume. But if it stops for too long, you will need to step on the gas pedal to resume.

    Thanks, great video as always. What's your experience of road sign recognition and changing speeds to meet the signed speed?

    • @lsft
      @lsft  2 года назад +1

      The road sign recognition is good, but not smart enough to recognize a zone that says only Monday to Friday 9 to 5pm. It will always read it and show the speed even outside of the time. The car will not change speed automatically and in reality where I live, nobody drives the speed limit. You can see in my video a 100km/hr highway, everybody flies by me even at 105.

  • @rvmorgan47
    @rvmorgan47 Год назад

    I would like to see how much your mileage goes down when you are in charge mode and how many miles you have to drive or how long it takes to charge from 0 to 80%. This would tell us how much it costs to charge your battery using gas

    • @lsft
      @lsft  Год назад

      Unfortunately, I don't drive that long to see how many miles/km it charges. Could try to run it for 10-20 mins and see how much it gains and reduces in range to get a calculation on how much it would take to gain.

    Thanks for the demo…I’m still having issues on how to set the regular cruise, it automatically wants to go to adaptive. I’ve turned the adaptive off, but what do I select to set the cruise once I get to the desired speed?

    • @lsft

    thanks for the demo! Do you know how the adaptive cruise perform in traffic jam?

    • @lsft
      @lsft  2 года назад +1

      It will speed up and slow down. Not as jerky as the previous generation. But the distance it maintains could cause cars to cut in as it's conservative and don't want to cause a crash by following too closely. I've only been in a short jam and I disabled it as I didn't want cars cutting in.

  • @jagaro
    @jagaro 2 года назад +1

    First off, @LSFT, thanks for making these videos. Does the NX have an auto brake feature when the adaptive cruise is not on? In my AMG, I could press a little further on the brake, and it would hold the car until I pressed the gas pedal. I loved this feature. Cheers.

    • @lsft
      @lsft  2 года назад +1

      @Jagaro yes the NX has a feature called brake hold. You activate it with a button and when you step on the brake and your car is at a stop, it will hold the brake and you can release your foot. However, if you hold it too long it will tell you to press on the brakes again to let it hold again.

    • @naveenthemachine
      @naveenthemachine 2 года назад +1

      @@lsft that’s not what I’m aware of
      In my 2020 Camry with the electric parking brake, if brake hold is active for more than 3 mins, it’ll automatically disable it and engage the parking brake. Then you tap the gas to release it and go
      Also brake hold doesn’t activate when the radar cruise holds you at a stop

    • @lsft
      @lsft  2 года назад

      @naveenthemachine I think the question was brake hold when you don't have adaptive cruise. I have tested the brake hold function and if you press the brake again after 3 minutes, it will resume brake hold. If you do not it will then engage the parking brake, and you can press the gas pedal or disengage the electronic parking brake, buy pressing on the brake pedal and pushing the EPB button.

      My Infiniti Q50 brakes automatically if there is a car ahead of me that is stopped whether or not I'm using cruise control. If adaptive control is off does lane assist work? Will the car brake automatically?

  • @maranderson897

    If you step on the brakes, how can you resume adaptive cruise control in a nx 450+ hybrid? Where’s the resume button?

    • @lsft

    • @lsft

      You hold down on the signal to the direction you want to change and it will change when it's safe. Don't press it all the way so that it locks down. You need to have adaptive cruise on for this to work

    Thanks for sharing your experience, great video 👍. Is there any information that the dealer provided for the welding near the shock absorber mounting areas. I’m kind of worried about that. Also do you have the wireless charging problem with iPhones? Thank you 😊

    • @lsft
      @lsft  2 года назад +2

      I have 2 videos related to the Qi wireless charging pad. From time to time, I will not behave properly, but most of the time it works fine with my Android and iPhone. Meanwhile, subscribe to my channel for more videos on the NX. However, my iPhone is 11 and does not have the Magsafe feature which I believe is the issue with the iPhone 12 and 13 phones. These phones have had issues with a lot of Qi chargers. Some people doing a hard reset on their 12/13 seem to have helped the issue.
      As with the welding issue. I believe all new NXs will have has this issue. It was the first few batches that may potentially have missed welds. I have seen many NX owners who got the recall noticed have their cars inspected and they did not have any missing welds. Are you a current owner and got one in late 2021 and Jan-Feb 2022?

    • @timyuan1948
