Hawaii by air - a pilots paradise

We visit Blue Hawaiian Helicopters at its main base in Kahului, Maui to learn more about the company's helicopter tour operations using the Airbus H130 helicopter.
Established on Maui in 1985 by David and Patti Chevalier, Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is today an independent subsidiary of Colorado-based Air Methods, LLC, a prominent provider of air medical services. About 80 percent of company revenue is derived from public sightseeing tours, with the remaining 20 percent coming from private tours and charters.
