Toshi San, miss you!! I have worked with Toshi at Blue Hawaiian for over 21 years and his comical comments have not changed. One of the best pilots at Blue Hawaiian from the Waikoloa Heliport.
I agree!! Toshi is one of the most amazing pilots I have ever had the privilege to fly with!! I'm so glad that I was able to meet him and all of you at Blue Hawaiian!! You guys truly are the best!! 🚁
Like 15 👍 Hello from Naples, Florida. Wow, this was an awesome ride with stunning views. We enjoyed. Thank you so much for sharing this part of the world with us.
Thank you so much I'm glad you liked it!!! Toshi has to be one of the best pilots I've ever had the privilege to fly with. He was super funny, very knowledgeable about The Big Island, and a Ace pilot!
I walked Mauna Loa & Kea in 2003. It was difficult to breathe due to the altitude & Kilauea was giving off fumes so also slight difficult to walk. Aloha🤙🦎🌺
I would describe being in a helicopter comparable to being in a car. A majority of the ride was ultra smooth but whenever we did turn or move at an angle you could feel the inertia pushing on you slightly exactly how turning in a car would make you lean slightly. Also weather plays an important factor on how smooth your ride can be. Fortunately my flight was on a sunny and perfect day but I don't doubt if the weather was a bit rainy or stormy you could encounter a few bumps. The pilots at Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tours are always monitoring the weather and adjust their flight path accordingly to assure you have a safe flight. Overall I'd fly with them any day. Excellent Question!!! 😄
Thank you so much! The Helicopter Tour company I booked with is called "Blue Hawaiian Helicopters" and the price will vary depending on which tour you choose. I did the "Big Island Spectacular tour" with a water fall landing and I paid for the front row seat. normally the tour would cost around $870 for a back row seat but for the front row seat I paid $1100. Prices may also vary depending if it is tourist season. Hope that answers your question 😄
Thanks for the ride☺️🫸
Of course! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Was the helicopter ride smooth? Or does it feel like turbulence on a plane?

Those 2 people in the back look like you bored them to sleep. ;-)
What time of the day you went?
My Helicopter Flight was 1:30pm - 4:00pm but I arrived 30 minutes earlier to check in.
Hi there, I love this halicopter ride that you did. I just want to know which company you booked with and how much? Thanks
