@@playfuldaily I've tried Penang food at New Lane. I am sorry to say I think it is overated. Cant understand why so many people crowded around there. I ate in cafe in my hotel Love it. And a nonya place. Quite sililar to singapore but so much cheper.Add nonya food in shopping mall.. Nice.
Excellent video! Very well collated and presented. It’s definitely informative and helpful to anyone who wishes to visit Penang. Keep up the good work! 👍🏻
Nice video, although one should spend at least 3-4 nights in penang. Hutton Lane roti bakar is a spot I used to frequent but not when it's holiday season as it can get too crowded. Alternatively you can go to naina's roti bakar at transfer road for roti canai and roti bakar. They basically have the same menu as Hutton Lane roti bakar. As for toh soon, there's a kopitiam just few minutes walk from toh soon called toon Leong kopitiam which I would recommend for the same menu as toh soon but without the queuing for a table. At toon Leong there's also a stall selling a halal version of penang hokkien mee which you can try. Both naina and too Leong are just metres away from each other. The transfer road & argyll road intersection in georgetown is a food hub as the options for food within a few hundred metres radius are aplenty.
Thanks for your very interesting channel

Sorry to hear about your experience at New Lane. We did not go there as we read negative reviews and felt it might be a bit over-rated.
