These videos really go to show that brand names aren’t always higher quality. A lot of people, including myself, would always buy Reese’s Puffs and would never give Great Value ones a chance. Now that I’ve seen this, I’ll for sure try them out. Thanks, guys!

I’ve begun to really like the Great Value cereals. Their flavor is great, they’re good in and out of milk, and a lot of them have less sodium and slightly less sugar while being less expensive than the name brands.
Have you tried the blue and golden boxes? You should try both, they’re both excellent, some of my favorite cereals.

Did not expect that outcome! Looking at the nutrition at the end, there's 5g more sugar in the GV brand. No wonder the flavor is more intense lol!

I'll be honest, I'd never tried Reese's cereal before because I only buy cereal when it's on sale and when GM is on sale the kind I reach for is Lucky Charms. And it was on sale last week so I bought a box because of this review. It was good and I'll finish the box but corn taste was so strong. If someone had given it to me to try without saying the name, I would have guessed Captain Crunch peanut butter because the flavor is awfully close to what I remember the regular Captain Crunch tasting like.
I like these blind taste test videos and I'll keep an eye out for the GV brand to try. 🙂

I love Great value cereal and they have some amazing cereal and real talk the great value wins no doubt but I still like the Reese's puffs and they have great value peanut butter chocolate puffs in the bag there better than Reese's puffs to me

I think the Walmart brand is way stronger. The peanut butter just slaps your taste buds in the face. The chocolate richness is phenomenal. I use these to make treats like rice krispies treats but with peanut butter & chocolate puff cereal. The same recipe just different cereals. You should give it a try.

I'm so glad I discovered this video. This is one of my favorite cereal and I didn't know there was a store brand for them. It goes to show you that brand name is just that a brand name. Sometimes the generic brand is just better. So thanks guys for this review.

Tested Reese's Puff for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I thought those were absolutely delicious. Can't find them in my country, but they should sell them, they would make money for sure.
Thank you for the review! It's funny how sometimes, the generic brands outperform the name brands. I used to like the Malt-O-Meal version of Honey Nut Cheerios for that reason. It was different than the original, but I really liked the flavor and texture.

Bingo! My thoughts exactly! Glad to see I am not the only one disliking that corn flavor on Reese's Puffs, which by the way, lost its flavor ever since they changed the formula to a more "nutritious" one. Back in the early 2000s, they were much more flavorful, sweeter, with that PB delicious powder-like flavor. I will try the Great Value version and hope my love for PB cereal will return. Thank you!

Love Reese's Puffs but I will def try the Walmart brand next time. Thank you. The cocoa krispies from Aldi are better then the name brand and also the cinnamon toast crunch.

Well, now I'm in the mood for Reese's Puffs. It's been a while. I think the last time I had them was 2018 or 2019. I'll get the Great Value kind and try those. Unless I can't find them. But I've had some bad luck with these cheaper brands like Great Value in the past. Main issue is how quickly they get soggy. I know the Great Value Chex gets soggy almost instantly when the milk touches them but the main brand of Chex doesn't and takes a little bit longer to get soggy. Also, the cheaper brand of Cinnamon Toast Crunch that Walmart has doesn't taste as good as the actual brand. I want to say it's the same with the cheap Froot Loops. The actual Froot Loops tastes better than the cheap stuff. Same with Cocoa and Fruity Pebbles. But I'll give the Great Value Reese's Puffs a try. Maybe they might be the odd ones and break the pattern I've noticed over the years when comparing. I just know I want Reese's Puffs after this review.

I know that in most cases store brands are better than name brand items. I see that often here in Denmark too. There are items that still edge out but I am still shocked over this. Damn it!!! now I REALLY REALLY want to try those 👀👀👀
