My only correction to Dr Saada Mire is that the Aw Barkhadle Adal Sultanate town wasnt founded in the 16th century..the town has signs of a preislamic origin so it must have existed before the 7th century and as for when the Adal Sultanate founded this town, it must have been around the 12th century or the 13th century because by the 16th century Adal Sultanate was already at its zenith and waging the largest wars in the horn of Africa against the Ethiopian Empire

I think sites like these needs to be encouraged locals to visit specially the young people. If you look at that registration book in the gallery the visitors are predominantly foreign nationals. $10 admission fee is imposed now for locals think this will discourage locals visiting. Let alone when it was free of charge.
Also knowledgable tour guide is much needed and a better visitors centre. Thank you Sada for all your hard work.
