I think you guys are highly productive. If you do everything yourself, it will take 4 times as long and you will wear yourself out! Trust me, I know! It's nice to see guys like you who provide a clean & safe home for a family , and provide livelihood for your crew and their family....it's all a win win! That's why we watch your channel! Later, ya'll!

Lived in mobile homes my whole life. As long as they're solid, you can update little at a time . In last couple years my mothers has had kitchen updated using house materials. Added an Aframe metal roof, double pane windows, and household doors . It's easier than trying to remodel the house we bought....repairs/ remodel on that cost more and can be much more complicated.
Donnie if you see the Patch, You need someone like me That can Tape real well, I did a Job for a very well off man, I redid his basement, He wan't someone who can tape and not see anything, He was going to paint it High gloss,, I Guarateed him He would not see any tape joints, He gave me a 2000 dollar bonus, What you should do Keep these 2 men doing the labor, and find a real good taper, Your Mobile home will look so much better when done.

I think behr is the best paint. Our mobile home is from the 77 and it has all paneling in it I painted it and it looks good. I’d live in a mobile home a single or a double. I think some have more room and storage than my house

Our powepoints have cover plates on them to hide the screws, etc... with the added bonus that you take the cover off (pry it off), paint right up to the thing, then when the paint is all dry, put the cover plate back on to hide your mistakes :)

Donnie I got a question I see you working and fixing these mobile homes, my master has the garden tub and the original shower walls, you know the dumb design where the wall goes behind the bathtub ledge so what fix do you recommend to keep water from getting past there caulk is what I used last time but figured might be a better alternative thanks
I always put the fiberglass surround that sits on top of the tub and it sticks out from the wall a couple inches where you can put your shampoo and all on the surround. It makes it harder for the water to go backwards and get up under this and get to the wall.

Why do mobile homes have those trim pieces on walls and ceiling? Can’t they just cover line with patch or something

Around our area it’s hard to find people to work. I’m bringing these guys in from 50 miles away so we just make out with what we got.
