Compared to most, I would call it Mid Range.

I sometimes get a finish that never fully hardens it stays kinda soft and tacky. Is this because of epoxy type? Mixing ? Or in accurate measuring? I have not been building long mainly for myself and close friends but I’m starting to replace my personal rods with higher quality blanks and would like to eliminate this issue. Love ur videos have learned a lot thanks

That is usually a case of not equal parts of epoxy. It could be the age of the epoxy. Mix a small batch, leave it in the cup, and set it out in the sun and see if it hardens. If not, order new epoxy.

I've done cork and carbon fiber but never EVA. Don't see a problem doing it though.
