Lawn and So On sounds sooo good this fast! I always wished they would've made it a longer song, with lyrics and whatnot. Though it is very beautiful the way it was on the album, with the crickets and whatnot. Nice ambient piece.
Does anyone know what eras the tracks are from? Like, what tracks were made around The Sophtware Slump for instance? Gold, Broken, Black bats and Levitz (with birds) are from their early 96-97 recordings, and the last track from 2000, but what about the rest?
I love these tunes, man! Anybody know a place to download the album? Would happily pay to download these tunes, but haven't been lucky enough to find it on amazon or bandcamp yet. Anybody? Grandaddy (as in J.L.) absolutely fucking rules.
+inphanta I spent about $60 on my copy a few months ago. Its super hard to find because the band was forced to stop selling it due to Alan Parsons in a Winter Wonderland technically not being their property to sell or something. It sucks.
+inphanta many many years ago i bought a t-shirt from their homepage, and along with the shirt they sent this cd and a handwritten note! all the way to norway. Talk about goddamn nice people!
Uno de los peores momentos de mi vida, lo pude sobrellevar en parte gracias a este álbum.
I had the don't sock the tryer demo on cassette as a kid. Such a great band.
Wow. ❤ been searching for everything Grandaddy
Levitz with birds is one of the greatest things ive ever heard
Not one ounce of embarrassment ! Are you kidding me Granddaddy in its rawest form is the greatest. Thanks for doing this
Can't stop replaying this album.
I love this version of mutineer, but the fact that the video version was on the sophtware anniversary vinyl was a gift
