      😁 thanks Rob. I think its going to be good for my workshop. There are cheaper options that are probably just as good. But this one ticks all my boxes 😁. Thanks for watching mate 😁 👍

    Just bought this thing as I'm stripping the plaster walls back to brick with an sds plus and spade bit. Have it sitting on fold up saw bench but what a difference it's made!

    I have the same model Frank and its spot on, one tiny downside the remote only operates from directly in front of the unit.

      😁 Watched your video a few times while I was trying to decide which one to get Karl 😁. So if it goes wrong its all your fault 😆😆😆. Thanks for watching mate 😁 👍

      😁 Thanks Shaun. I was thinking of getting the Axminster, but finally settled on the Record Power. I'm hoping its going to be as good I think it is 😁. Thanks for watching mate, catch you soon 😁👍

    I've had mine for a year - very effective and well worth the investment.

      😁 Thanks Jeremy, I'm hoping for good things from this filter. And I haven't bumped my head on it yet... so its all good 😆. Thanks for watching 😁 👍

      I have mine on a high level shelf, but I know that Badger Workshop had his on its side which - I believe - Record Power agreed was fine.

      @@MrJeremyNako 😁 I have seen Matts setup and that is my other option to have it on its side ( my workshop is not wide enough), I will see how I get on with it mounted on the ceiling 😁👍

    Working off a stool adds an element of excitement to a somewhat mundane job. Happy breathing and thanks for the video.😁

      😆 Thanks Chris. The real excitement is stepping from stool to stool.... while holding the unit above your head.... while getting tangled up in the power lead 🤣🤣.... only wish I had filmed that attempt 🤣. Thanks for watching mate, hope your well 😁👍

    I have the same unit and am very pleased with it. It takes the dust level down to the point where it will even take the smell of cut MDF out of the air.

    • @frankslittleworkshop
      @frankslittleworkshop  4 месяца назад

      😁 Its surprising how long the small particles hang around suspended in the air. If you can smell the MDF then the partials are still airborne. The problem i have is even if I'm not cutting any material, as soon as I disturb anything it kicks up the particles. Hopefully this will eventually even stop that from happening 😁. Thanks for watching Andy 😁👍

    Frank, not every workshop can use the chains to hang the unit. I used microwave brackets to place mine upon as I have it on a side wall, this works a treat.

    • @frankslittleworkshop
      @frankslittleworkshop  4 месяца назад

      😁 there's no way i could use the chains without banging my head every time I go in the workshop 🤕. Ill see how it works out, I always have the option of putting it on the shelf my old filter was on (it may need some modifications). Thanks for watching 😁 👍

    Mine packed up in no time and got replaced by supplier. A year later packed in again Record sent me a circuit board a few months later packed in again. Record got me to send it to them a couple of days later it’s back. It does a great job when it works. Oh by the way one of my cancers is in the throat so it would be cool if it was reliable.

      🤔 Looks like I'm going to have to keep an eye on how reliable the controller is. It looks like its its weak point 🤔. Your 100% right, it has to be reliable. Either way, its got to be better than what I have now 😁. Thanks for watching, take care mate 😁👍

    I have the rutland equivalent in my small and dusty workshop,. and does it work. My biggest problem is not remembering to switch it on , until the dust sticks to your tongue . Dohh, so to say . Love the outakes as normal

      @frankslittleworkshop  4 месяца назад

      😆 Thanks Paul 😆. I do the same with all my extraction. It dont matter how good a bit of kit is.... if you don't turn it on it don't work very well 🤔. But on the up side... the filters last longer 🤣🤣. Thanks for watching mate 😁 👍

    I have the Sherwood version of yours. Looks like they come out of the same factory, just painted different colours (mine is a brown colour). I've noticed a difference in my workshop since I installed it, (it's a 2 car garage), so a medium sized workshop. 👍🇦🇺🇬🇧🍺🍺

      😁 Thanks Chris. I hope your well 😁. Yep I think your right that they are all the same design. I did film a whole section about comparing the other brands but that all had to be cut out to stop the video being too long 😔. But yes, they are all very simular. Thanks for watching Chris 😁👍

    I have the Rutland's version basically exactly the same as record does a great job of cleaning the air remote not the best, had it 3 weeks stopped working sent me new circuit board a year later now turns itself on randomly so make sure you turn it off at the socket when not in use as you will end up with an expensive electric bill 🤬

    • @frankslittleworkshop
      @frankslittleworkshop  4 месяца назад

      😁 I think there are so many that are all the same design. I just hope I don't have any issues with it. Looks like the controller is the weak point 🤔. I'll try and turn it off when not in use. Thanks for watching mate 😁 👍
