could you just tell me that how to become the master in using ansys ??? and where should i start to learn this software ?? i really have no ideas that where to start i am eagerly for your reply.sir, please guide me.i love ANSYS
you should start with some the basic tutorials first. Then start doing advance simulations. You should keep practicing and exploring different cases to again a good knowledge in this software. There is an free online courses provided by Edx .by cornell university.
Greetings! A very nice tutorial bro. Just one question. I am doing a similar problem but instead of only methane for fuel inlet, I am having pre-mixed combustion with methane air of 0.83 equivalence ratio. My question is that will adjusting the mass/mole fractions of methane/oxygen in the species tab while specifying boundary conditions for fuel inlet be enough to model such a problem or do I need another model for that?
Hi brother! I may be able to help. I know an expert and I'm working on the same process too. Can you please send your file over to me? mevee_89@hotmail.com
Hello, I have initial concentration of CO2 released from people ,of initial concentration 40000 ppm .How to define this condition ?? in cell zone condition (source term ) or boundary condition? And how to covert unit?
You might not have observed the tutorial properly, if you have seen the material property assignment part in this video, you could get an idea what's going on. Let me know If you still not getting it or not.
@@AnsysTutor only thing I can guess is Rate Exponent in the Reactions window being "1". So I can't use this method for my calculation. I need fuel to burn only after reaching flash temperature. Still great vid, I'm kinda self taught in CFD.
In part 1 of this tutorial you could get the answer, it's the "eddy dissipation reactions" concept. As the real physical world combustion process involves burning, turbulences, heat convection, flow and many phenomenon, all these are solved by "eddy dissipation model" and gives the result of the combustion process. Hope this will clarify your doubt.
@@Sabonius1 Eddy Dissipation Model doesn't require the ignition source as the rate of reaction only depends on turbulent mixing rate (they just mix and burn). If you select Eddy Dissipation Concept model, it also considers the kinetic rate of reaction and then you need ignition source (something like hot spot).
THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECT OF ADDITIONAL LEVELS OF HYDROGEN TO NATURAL GAS ON THE EMISSIONS AND PERFORMANCE OF A BOILER HEATER CAN YOU EXPLAİN FOR THİS EXAMPLE TUTO WİTH ANSYS HOW CAN HELP TO ME ?
Hi, I'm an undergraduate student of mechanical engineering and I'm trying to simulate combustion in a pulsejet. But I do not know how to determine what my inlet methane would be. Would it be possible for me to contact you so that you can review my work?
You can determine it based on the equivalent ratio require by your engine's geometry and the desired power output. The equivalent ratio is the ratio of the fuel-air ratio over the stochiometric fuel-air ratio. For example, the stochiometric fuel-air ratio of methane(CH4) is 0.05814. This means that every 1 kg of air will react to every 0.05814 kg of fuel (this also applies to flows). equivalent ratio = 1; complete combustion (just enough fuel) equivalent ratio > 1; rich fuel combustion (too much fuel) equivalent ratio
Sir please tell me, when I assign composition of species in boundary condition, it gives me the same after solution and also wall temperature, and when I don't assign, it gives nothing, means there is no solution taking place, instead what I input in boundary condition, it returns the same.
In mesh part, when I updated the mesh, error has occurred "The mesh file exporter failed during translation. Please send your data to your support provider." Why does the error occur?? So I can't proceed next setup part. Your RUclips videos were really helpful for me!! Thank you
Sorry safdar for the disappointment. We had currently started videos with voice guidance ,you can watch our latest videos. We will also try to continue that.

Thank you sir. I was doing all the stuff but I think finally I got write advice thank you again means a lot to me sir ♥️
You are most welcome, you can ask us anytime if have any doubt in any stage.
Amazing video Mr Ansys Tutor :)
Mr ansys tutor?!

You should put this ushing the patching as volume concentration.
can you provide a tutorial on simulating a flame through species transport? appreciated
If you have any research paper or journal on this then share with us ,if possible will try to make a tutorial.
can you provide a tutorial on the air ventilation rate in a room? Where inside CO2 concentration is more than the outside CO2. much appreciated.
will try to make a tutorial if possible , thank you for your query.
Hello, can you please explain why it is burning, as you inject cold methane in cold air. Looks like the will just mix and that's all.

Thank u for this tutorial. Could u plz explain a transient combustion and simulation of a transient turbulent flame?
ok ,will try to do a tutorial on that.
Thank u sir :)

How to change the biodiesel blend percentage such as b20,b40? and also can we do performance characteristics on ansys?

Check if you have missed any step in part 1 .
@@AnsysTutor I have seen that. I wanna ask a general question, if possible can you guide me, if I ask my issues. Or if email possible?
how to inject a fuel at an particular angle in ansys??
You have to calculate the x ,y & z components for that injection and then can assign it in the inlet .
why i couldnt get the same value for total sensible heat rate as my air inlet flux value is positive?
check the mesh size and no of iterations.

Check if there any gap in between the parts. Have you done the advance sizing function "off" or not? If not then do it first.
Thank you!! I have solved the problem.
Most welcome.:)
