It makes me think how lucky we are because a lot of fruits that was on the list are in our backyard. Except for the Durian, serguelas and Mangosteen. We also have lubi, kapayas, avocado, tambis and eba. 🤗

I remember when I was a kid we have a tree of "Aratiles", you just gotta pick it from the tree wash it then eat the whole fruit including the peel it's so sweet and cute, it's common here in provinces of the Philippines fun fact: I have never ever seen "Aratiles" sold in the maket

I remember when I was a kid we have a tree of "Aratiles", you just gotta pick it from the tree wash it then eat the whole fruit including the peel it's so sweet and cute, it's common here in provinces of the Philippines

There are two kinds of rambutan Southern Tagalogs called: "Supsupin" and "Tuklapin". Supsupin types of rambutan, the meat of the fruit is hardly sticked to the seed that's why you just slurp the juice from the meat - hence the meaning of "supsop" or "to suck or to slurp" in english. Tuklapin types of rambutan, the skin of the seeds comes off when you bite the meat of the fruit - hence the meaning of "tuklap" which means "to peel off".
