As a Caps fan, the least I need to worry about is getting disappointed. Barring any unexpected injuries, I have no expectation for this team. So even a 0-4 sweep wouldn't disappoint me at all.
I want to see some Ovi goals and at least 1 game win, everything else would be just a sweet dessert watching Caps play and knowing that Penguins are out of playoffs 2. year in the row, Let's GO

I’m a die hard Canucks fan!! It’s been since 2015 we will have fans in Roger’s arena. I’m happy you gave us all this coverage it’s been so nice to watch a good team. I haven’t missed a game for years including the dreadful seasons of 2016 onward so I can’t express how happy I am for fellow fans to get some real playoff action!!!

I truly believe, if the jets can get that level of play that they had at the start of the year, they can win the whole thing. They’re just so good at keeping the puck out of their net when they’re playing good, and the offence has been picking up lately too. If they can put that together, I think they can beat anyone in 7 games

Canes fan checking in. For round 1, we can't sleep on Sorokin. He's had some inconsistency, but the Isles have stuck with him for a reason, and historically my Canes haven't been a volume scoring team. I think our key is our somewhat improved offense after the trade deadline, but we'll see if it's enough. Give us some good hockey, Isles, and good luck to all of the playoff teams!

I was 8 when I saw the Leafs lift the cup in '67. Watching the games in the final week this season the Leafs look anything but playoff ready. Marner will have to be bitten by a radio-active Spider if he's to win the Conn Smythe and, ironically, the Spider-Slaying villain from Spider-man just also happened to be named "Smythe". Great video. The NHL playoffs in our modern era is the wild west of professional sports.

If the Cap's go to the end, it's a Conn Smyth for Tom Wilson. The young guys need to take the lead, and Wilson needs to be the front of it. McMichael will be in the conversation by having the honors of being that Center, but Wilson will take it by setting the tone for the young guys winning games.

Edmonton Florida Stanly cup playoffs is what my prediction is. Only the Stanly cup champs have shut down edmonton the last 2 years. Florida was a huge surprise last year and they are better this year. Should be a good playoffs!

If the Stars win, and I hope they do, there is no way Oetter isn't the Conn Smythe winner cause they won't win if he isn't. I think Wyatt Johnston continues his tear into the playoffs and carries this team offensively. He's a legit Selke candidate in a couple years and he will only continue to score more goals while playing elite defense. He wasn't even top 3 for rookie of the year last season because Matty Beniers hype and he's bad this year. Wyatt has 32G, 33A, played all 82 games and he's +14. He kills penalties and he can quarterback the 2nd PP unit if he has to.
