We worked on an incredible prog show about ten years ago. All our work paid off when he showed up to put the keys in place. It is a beautiful thing to see five musicians all holding their positions well, and each of them playing music that taxed them all to the limits of their abilities. Prog does this. Would have been an amazing show...
I've resisted HOTS for over 50 years, and only recently tried to work this out. Back in the day, I'd slow the turntable down to 16 2/3 to figure out Perpetual Change, Roundabout, etc. Now I'm finding that I can slow YT videos down to 0.25 to accomplish the same thing, except SEEING you play it at the same time helps immensely. Besides, it's a real hoot listening to you at quarter-speed!
HOTS is a real ballbreaker innit? Well 50 years of training, you’re ready for it I think! RW uses such sneaky fingering it’s amazing anyone ever learned this stuff in the days before hi def slowmo videos. I remember seeing an old VHS of Yessongs where all you see is a blur of fingers and a sequined cape. Good luck, you got this bruh!!
I need a "how to suck less at signing" tutorial. I guess duct tape might be the answer in that case too XD I'm only here for that expression on Doggo's face like "oh here we go again with the tape"

Dude this is amazing! And I love the title of your series "Suck less at keyboards" it leaves nothing to the imagination, this is so well done and it's perfect 4 anybody who plays keyboards and has seen even one episode of Land of the Lost, not to mention yet another use 4 quacker rapper
Thanks man! Yea speaking of Land of the Lost, it's a crying shame that nobody does tutorials on how to play the theme song. It's pretty tricky to get the timing of the "AHHHHHH" part
Not only is this amazingly done...you made me laugh..I remember watching "Land of the Lost" & the oh so scary Sleestack & this is sad..I actually remember one of the actor's name "Wesley Eure"..not sure of spelling! I truly am real...I hope I can do magic for you!! Suzanne
Finally, someone who understands the sheer PTSD-inducing terror that the sleestak inflicted on young impressionable minds! Later generations had cute fuzzy purple dinos like Barney. We had SLEESTAK. And that terrifying t-rex (who in reality was probably an oven mitt with paper mache teeth but I had nightmares just the same). Thanks again Suzanne, and I'm counting on that magic! I'm workin away on my end so let's make it happen!!
Oh my; I'm laughing so hard I'm afraid I may have an accident! JUST KIDDING!! No, really, I am laughing..remember the little mini me short hairy pseudo Chebacca character who never had a line to say...love your description on the t-rex!!! Awesome! Barb & I posted your incredible music on her FB timeline page..our friends & relatives I hope will be blown away like we are!! Oh man, where'd my magic wand disappear to? LOL Suzanne
"little mini me short hairy pseudo Chebacca character who never had a line to say" HAHAHAHAHAH that hit me with such a flashback I had to google what ever happened to that guy. Turns out he was played by child actor Philip Paley who, after later appearing in Airwolf and Beachballs in the 80s, quit acting and is now a legal consultant. Mystery solved! I'm sure you really needed to know this. Thank you soo much for the facebook plug! I deleted my own facebook in the great social media purge of 2017, so I really appreciate the fb hype. Duct tape is off so I guess I better get back to work and upload some new stuff for ya this week \m/
My dogs play better than I do haha. This is actually a CP70M. Yamaha did a brief production run where they added midi and changed the knobs to sliders. The circuitry is exactly the same as the CP70B, I think. I actually prefer the old knobs a lot more. It's the only way to play Moribund the Burgermeister! Lol. Carnegie. Hall. Funny story. My bf was guitar player 4 a noted blues band 80s One of the Dudes in band was drunk couldnt find rest room, fast enough at encore time. He ..well um ..left his mark back stage at the hall.poor thing had No class at all .

I lost it when you brought out the tape, lol. Very interesting and cool video! I would love to see more videos in this style. Thanks!
Hey anything to sell a riff, it was either that or krazy glue. Thanks, I'll do more like this!

Haha - love this. You've made me want to play keyboards to try this. Amazing accomplishment! Also nice use of dogs. Very smart as they work for free.
Go for it! Duct tape is optional. And Ya there's nothing like free labor ...or should I say fur-ree labor. No I shouldn't say it.
