- We've discussed TERAMAX forms (or Terastal forms) in my last video, a possible upgrade to the terastal phenomenon in Scarlet and Violet. Now we take a look at Teramax Quaquaval, Teramax Skeledirge and Teramax Meowscarada. What could they look like, and what would their design inspirations be?

Brilliant idea, honestly it would be interesting seeing some Pokémon get new looks via with 2 whole new types, imagine a beheeyem becoming a secret agent completely hidden in the shadows like a ghost type, a hitmonchan playing basketball or dodgeball it makes from rubber or tar and just dunking on other Pokémon instead of boxing, a kingambit becoming a paladin of fire and light, or even cacturne becoming a gunslinger firing glass shards and dodging bullet hell as if it can just read your mind, the possibilities are really large honestly.
Those are some really awesome ideas! You’re right, the possibilities are huge, you can explore Pokémon designs in an entirely new way. It’s so much fun to think about 😁

Meowscarada now looks even better! All of these designs are solid and I'd love to see them made real. One question though: how would Tera Blast work for a two-typed Terastallization?
Well, Hawlucha’s move Flying Press, while categorised as a Fighting type move, is actually simultaneously Fighting AND Flying type, so it is super effective against types weak to Fighting and Flying. I would say the Tera Blast would act the same way, it would simultaneously be both Tera Types.

I was thinking for Teramax Form Tyranitar it could be a Fire/Dragon Type based on Godzilla.

If I personally had to choose 1 Pokemon to get a Tera Max form, it would be either Veluza or Lokix since from what ive seen only new pokemon get Tera Max
Lokix could be Fighting Normal or Fighting Flying, and for Veluza, it would be Dark Ground

Interesting ideas! Yes I’ve been keeping Teramax forms to new Pokémon as past Gen Pokémon have good representation in Paradox forms.

4:19 I somehow correctly predicted exactly what its type would be. Though to be honest, I was expecting for its mask to look like a butterfly.
That would’ve been a cool addition! I didn’t want to push too far away from the various elements that were iconic for Meowscarada which is why I kept the mask shape

Maybe you could do Teramax simulations for pokemon that have not fully evolved like Pikachu and Eevee?
Interesting… well Pikachu would be easy, but Eevee already changes types, admittedly only one. So dual type Eevees would be interesting but might take away from their own unique mechanic…
I do have an eevee video in the works though, so you might find that an interesting watch!

I’ll definitely get to doing all of the eeveelutions soon. I’ve got something special lined up for Eevee, something I think is better than Teramax forms.
I chose Sprigatito as my starter but my favourite of these three forms is definetely Skeledirge. If this design was actually something in the game i would probably have chosen Fuecoco.
I’m just not fond of how Skeledirge design is so hidden by it being on all fours

Such as Ash’s Greninja’s Battle Bond?
Hmm, probably. The biggest question is why does Greninja look like Ash, and why does everyone else’s battle bond greninja look like Ash as well? I’ll have a think!

The Pokemon Company announced that the mysterious legendary you speak of - now revealed to be known as Terapagos - is to come in the second wave of the upcoming S/V DLC
Yes! I was excited to see that reveal. Visually it is easy to see how it creates the Terastal Phenomenon, but it’s not clear what it has to do with Paradox forms. I’m hoping the DLC story lives up to the mystery they’ve built up.
I've seen leaks and it seems that this could actually be a thing in the DLC
Yeah, it does appear to be a possibility. I’m excited to see if it is, and what they will have done with it!
I could see each of these being regional forms and pokemon lines for their respective pokemon.

Actually isn’t missing anything. Just like the dynamax band and the raid dens of SWSH, the Terastalize phenomenon gets its second source of power from the large Tera crystal deposits deep under Paldea. And just like in Galar, there are raid den-like openings where you can encounter these terastalized forms. 0:56
I do like teramax Meowscarada though.
But that’s why i theorise it to be incomplete. A Tera Orb is made from a chunk of those crystals in Area Zero, which would be like making a Dynamax band from a chunk of raid den crystal. Dynamaxing needs the Wishing Star to function properly, so we might be missing something with the Terastal phenomenon but not having the corresponding piece of the legendary pokemon.
Terastal is in got really cool, don’t get me wrong, but things are set up in a similar way to Galar which implies we mightn’t have seen the full power of this yet.
@@professorkauri I think the Disk pokemon may have yet to reveal more about this awesome and truly game changing gimmick (best one yet in my opinion). And you may be closer to reality than you think. Especially when it’s pretty obvious that Paldea will be connected to kalos (where mega forms are). So a combination of terastalizing and mega evolving would pretty much be your teramax concepts.
I’m certainly hoping it will reveal something more about Terastalising. If it stays as it is, that would be fine, but I feel it would also be missing out on something great. In saying that, Paldea did give Paradox forms. So maybe this Gen they separated the form changes into their own phenomenon. Time will tell!

I haven’t played the Paldea games yet, so I haven’t seen the other Team Star Aces, so I’ll take your word for it until I have a chance to play the games 😊
@@professorkauri Ortega's ace when you first fight him isn't a conventional Pokemon but what I'm saying is that T-Max masquerade looks like he could look like Ortega cuz of the colors

I got a question does the tera max only work when you have that crystal you don't need any tera shard?
For my theory, you need both the hexagonal plate from the third legendary and the crystal shard from Area Zero

Teramax Skeledirge is standing up NOOOOOOOO!
I do prefer Skeledirge as a quadruped, but it didn’t feel right to convey the opera vibe. But I’m saying that, Skeledirge stands up to perform its signature move, so this could just be part of its Teramax signature move.
Hey, so I have a question. I saw that in the last video the Dudunsparce, the Baxcalibur and the Scovillian had the tera hats being a mixture of both of the tera hats from the two types, so can you please explain to me why the starters don’t have them?
I also am not very fond of the crowns in general. So I thought I’d leave them out this time so I could show the Pokémon art bigger.
There is also a possibility that regular Tera forms are coated in Terastal energy, hence the crown and Crystal look, but Teramax forms have absorbed the Tera energy into themselves, so the crown might not actually appear.
But really I just didn’t want to draw them haha 😆

Some leaker recently mentioned a dlc will give some Pokémon new Terastal forms. So it might happen yet!
@@professorkauri i dont think it will be about all pokemon beacause i think its gonna be for terapagos beacause he is the reason for tera fenomenom and every pokemon that brout new fenomenonm like eternatus and necrozma got super strong form with when the fenomenom is used on them so i think terapagos will have the special terastal form but other i dont khnow

Would it not be that for a Pokémon that can teramax they change to they’re tera type but get an additional locked typing
Of course if a Pokémon teramax type was locked into fire and it’s Tera type was fire it would just become pure fire
I see Teramax forms as temporary, rather than permanent as that’s where regional and convergent forms come into play

"Teramax" is just a dynamax but with tera call it Teransofrmation (Teraform)

Lol. Skeledirge already stands on two legs to sing, I think of my Skeledirge in mid-song as well as it shows off the design better, but it would still move around on all fours
