It makes sense. Doubt it would happen like this, but I would be totally down for teramax pokemon.
Chances of this happening would be VERY slim, I agree. But it’d be a whole lot of fun of it did!
Honestly, it'd definitely be amazing to have a special form that changes the design of a given pokemon without making them so much more powerful than others that it breaks competitive battling, like Megas did...which is sad, since I mostly just saw them as the rewards for a fun fetch quest, they're just cool to have!
...though, then again, they did something similar with Gigantamax by having most/any mons be able to dynamax for the same boosts, just without the unique design changes, so this *might* be possible!
@@damienearl8302 there’s a slim chance for sure, so I hope they do something like this!
I want to is to happen so bad
Wow... I have heard rumors of dual type tera crystals... But the max forms mixed in is brilliant!
I thought so too! It’d be an amazing way to try out some bizarre type combinations and have more fun with existing Pokémon designs!
exactly :)
why is this so beautifully animated and edited for a smaller RUclips channel
Its honestly amazing
Thank you so much! I only started making videos in December, so just getting started 😁
The animations look like an actual pokemon game
Thank you! That’s what I was aiming for 😊
I honestly think this is an amazing idea! I honestly first thought of another one being Teramax Meowscarada, a Psychic and Fairy type. Instead of using it’s magician-like abilities to trick others, it instead uses them to entertain and protect those around it. It still likes to trick its opponents though, with almost realistic illusions.
That's a neat idea! Keeping the magician vibes going but changing their intent with new types, and the new visual could look amazing with psychic and fairy!
This makes me think about how for my Pokemon ideas I thought up an extension of Z-Moves called Z-Morph, in which certain Pokemon when they use signature Z-Moves will transform into stronger forms. In their Z-Forms, such Pokemon get a stat boost (not as much as Mega Evolution) and can use Z-Moves infrequently (the more it uses a Z-Move, the longer the wait for the next one).
That’s an awesome idea!
Tbh... doesn't sound that great
Concept is ok, but needs a lot of time. First - Z-moves affects Move, not Pokemon unlike Terastalization
Second: I think individual moves are enough but who knows
The moment I saw Teramax Dudunsparce, I kid you not, I physically applauded 😂 This is such a clever way to reintroduce form changes for Pokémon that need them.
And a knightly Baxcalibur with arm blades? Fkn gorgeous.
You're so underrated man, good stuff!!
So glad you liked them! They were so much fun to create, and explore how the potential they have! I had a great time making them
Holy cow - amazing video! Love the animation, especially! Amazing designs, too - I love Teramax Scovillian way more than the regular form, LOL
Thanks, Jim! It’s been a few weeks working on this while I could to get this all done, I’m super happy how all this came out!
While I’m really happy with all three designs, I think Teramax Dudunsparse is my favourite, but specifically the shiny one (it’s normal colours) haha.
@@professorkauri I can tell you spent a lot of time on it - blown away, honestly! I need to up my own production values re: environmental stuff so this was definitely inspiring!
That one is also really cool, for sure! All great designs!
Thanks 😁
It's still a bit clunky to use right now, so I'm hoping to improve and expand on that as I go, but I'm stoked how it came out visually. Glad it could be an inspiration. I look forward to seeing what you make!
@@professorkauri all this stuff gets way easier the more you do it so I'm betting by the next video, you'll be more happy with your progress. And thank you - looking forward to seeing more from you, too!!
10:35 this shiny for teramax dudunsparce is what I wish regular dudunsparce looked like.
Teramax sounds super interesting and I like that scovillain.
Haha, Thanks! Yeah I would have kept those colours for Teramax Dudunsparce if I wasn't changing its types, as I prefer normal Dunsparce colours as well 😆
Quick note, the “ride pokemon” from Hisui are noble pokemon. Each Warden has one Noble, it just so happens that the ones that weren’t bathed in golden light were the ones that chose to let you ride them. I believe Wyrdeer’s noble actually says ingame that this it letting you ride it is not a normal occurrence, maybe it sensed your connection to Arceus or something.
Other than that, excellent video. Love how it builds on canon lore in a way that actually makes sense. Personally I feel like the best part of Terastalization is that it *doesn’t* give unique forms to specific pokemon, it does the same thing to all pokemon. But out of every version of the “what if Terastalization gave unique forms” concept, this is by far my favourite
Also Teramax Dudunsparce Rules
Great spotting, thanks! I was aware that all 10 were technically Nobles, but needed a way to communicate the differences in roles. There was probably a better way to explain it. but I haven't had the opportunity to play the games myself yet, so I've been trying to make sense of things I could find online and obviously missed some things 😊
Glad you enjoyed it though! It was a lot of fun to put together. Terastalisation being something all pokemon can use is pretty awesome, so it's valid that only some pokemon being able to Teramax would be a bit of a let down, but I see it similar to Gigantamaxing. All can Dynamax, some can Gigantamax.
Teramax Dudunsparce is my favourite too 😁
The rides aren't Noble Pokémon. Ursaluna was explicitly stated to not be a noble around the beginning of Arezu's Predicament. Its supposed "frenzy" was unexpected specifically for that reason. All ten are Pokémon that descend from the ones of the ancient hero, they all have Wardens, all grant Plates, etc., but nobles are just a subset of these special Pokémon, not the whole group.
I see I still have a lot more research to do in this area, thanks! 😊
New to the channel.
Wonderful! The animation is so epic! 🤩
What's up Dusty!
Thank you!
So one thing that you seemed to miss. Megas started after the weapon Az used that was powered by Xyerneas/ Yveltal. Which also fits with the theory. Besides that, great video!
That's a great point! I did consider Mega stones and their connection to the Ultimate weapon, AND they have both the Mega Stone and Key Stone - but it isn't quite the same as the keystones aren't pieces of Xerneas/Yveltal. However, in saying all that, I do have a video I'm working on that will explore the connection between the Ultimate weapon and Mega Evolution.
GREAT content! I'm excited to keep watching your stuff
Thanks! Lot's more coming 😁
I love this so much! It’s wonderful animated, I love the ideas. Your so underrated, you get a new sub :)
Thank you so much 😃
@@professorkauri No problem :)
Pretty sure hisui was still called hisui around 300 years ago not thousands of years ago since there were already binded books and steam powered pokeballs
Good noticing, I seem to have crossed that fact with approximately when people first settled in the region.
@@professorkauri ah ok
Yeah, I was going to call this out as well. Details about Spiritomb also limit Legends: Arceus to be at most about 300 years before Diamond/Pearl.
Underated RUclipsr hope to see you grow 😁
Thank you! Appreciate it 😁
I'm so glad I found this channel!!
Glad you’re enjoying it here 😁
I gotta say I have a feeling that u will be a great RUclipsr, your videos and art style are amazing.
Thanks so much! 😁
The snorlax said "nothing personal kid" and kaboomed oshawott out of existence
Yeah, I’m not sure any Pokémon that small should be able to survive that attack 😆
It actually makes since bc until the most recent games (S/M, SW/SH) they had a source or an origin for Z moves and dynamax
this lore generally makes sense and I like the idea dont let pikachu touch a thunder stone if you dont want him to evolve into raichu Xd
Pikachu gets into everything... I make sure to keep thunderstones off-site.
Maybe I should keep Pikachu off-site instead...
As long as he's not "Partner" Pikachu
(This doesn't have official name yet, but it seems to be related)
this would be so awesome
I can't wait for this channel to boom
Thanks 😊
This is what Dudunsoarce should have evolved into from the start! Dunsparce evolution was SO incredibly frustrating. 10:24
Glad you like it! The evolution we got was a bit of a let down, I’m hoping they’re hiding a cooler paradox dunsparce in the DLC
@@professorkauri a BIT of a let down? Bro that was insulting af. All this time it looks like some pupal form of a bug. So I was assuming if it ever got an evolution it would get the gen 4 treatment where it gets a baby form and a second stage. And since it looks very insect-like I was expecting an insect evolution. Maybe even our first Bug/Dragon. But it just getting another section or two sections was a HUGE let down. I understand that it’s some kind of inside joke or something or some kind of wordplay with the Japanese name or something but that’s no reason to ruin the potential of what could have been an awesome opportunity.
This is amazing!
Thank you! 😊
OMG 🤩 I Love the concept , I know for a fact your channel is gonna BLOW UP Good Luck 🍀 on your Journey amigo!
Thank you so much!! 😁
Teramax Dudunsparce and Teramax scovillain looks really awesome! Specially scovillain is a massive upgrade! Keep up the good work!
Thank you, Professor! I plan on it! 😁
Teramax is great... but I see some minuses: (Don't get me wrong, I see them with your vision of Teramax, and not with concept overall)
1. I don't think that there could be double type Terastalization why?
a) it colides with a concept of Terastalization
b) it would require one of 2 teratypes to be teramax type or could just block normal Terastalization
My vision: there would be still one type, but some pokemon would change IF they have Teramax type as their Teratype (e.x. If Scovillain has Psychic TType, it will terastalize, but if it's Ghost type it will teramax)
2. Name Teramax easily can be confused with Maxing in Galar, so I recomend Teraformation (phenomenon) and Teraforms (of pokemon)
3. Looks more like Mega (except Baxcalibur)... My friend made his own region and remade gimmicks and added his own: Omega - Mega, and Delta - changes pokemon's design and typing but doesn't look like better version, but like alternative, this inspired me to think about Teraforms.
My vision: Scovillain should stay with 2 heads and Dudunsparce shouldn't get even longer.
4. Crowns - I don't think that those still would wear crowns if they would be teraformed... but I could be wrong (tho this "angry eyes" hexagon has to appear on teraform somewhere, like G-maxes had those clouds (Centiskorch had on tail for example)
And I think that's it, It's not supposed to be offensive. I hope u had a good time reading it and, see ya... I guess? Have a good day/night/afternoon/whatever
Those are some great points and solutions on how Tera forms could work. I particularly like your example of Tera forms hiding behind specific Tera types.
1. I like the idea of dual Tera types being possible as it would add more possibilities can chaos haha.
2. We chose the word Teramax for the reason that it matched Galar, but I do see how it could get confusing to people.
3. The creative challenge I gave myself for these forms was to explore what these Pokémon would look like if they were originally designed with these new type combos. So they do stretch the boundaries of what would likely happen, but it’s fun to explore the possibilities.
4. I’d happily remove the crowns, but that’s part of the Terrastal process currently so I left them in.
Thanks for sharing, it’s great hearing other people’s ideas and opinions! 😁
I expected somthing of low quality due to the low sub count but my God was I presently surprised
Haha, glad it was a pleasant surprise! 😁
The quality of your videos is simply amazing. Glad to see i found it early :)
I'm subscriber #871
Thanks for coming along for the ride! 😁
This is truly amazing
Small channel but amazing animation
More people should subscribe
Thanks so much! 😁
you deserve more subscribers.
Thanks! 😊
Pikachu Von Fuzzletom lll is the best pokemon name i’ve ever heard😂
I think you’re the first to notice, haha 😆 if only the games would allow nicknames this long!
Ok this is a really good idea! I love it. But… what a bout calling them Terafying Pokémon
Haha, that's an awesome name for them 😆
Do you have any research on Mega Evolutions, professor? I am really interested in this phenomenon and would like to learn more
I do actually have some theories around that I'm currently working on! Still got a bit more research before I can make that video, but keep an eye out for it!
I'd love to see the Paldea Starters get some kind of Teramax Forms.
It’s on my radar for upcoming videos, so keep an eye out for it!
If you could choose a type combo for the starters, what would you go for? Bare in mind that it cannot have either of its two original types.
@@professorkauri Hmmmmm.
For Meowscarada: Fairy
For Skeledirge: Dragon
For Quaquaval: Steel
@@Wildcatt1999 interesting…
This should happen in dlc thank you for this video
Or hopefully something similar!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love peoples constant need for dunsparce to have a better evo or form. Accept the dudunsparce he’s perfect how he is
Haha, same here. I actually quite like dudunsparce, but with all the varied reactions to it I knew I had to give it a Teramax form 😆
I absolutely adore this idea, basically Megas but arguably better design wise. My only minor complaint is in Competitive. Some Pokemon might need specific typed Tera forms to be viable, so it can get Stab from its new types. But besides from that, I adore these ideas, heres a sub doc your underrated
Yeah, I didn't design these with competitive in mind, but I get where you're coming from.
I hope one day the pokemon system gets somewhat of an overhaul so that each pokemon has some opportunity to be viable in competitive - though it's unlikely the system would change now, unless they give some sort of re-boot with generation 10.
@@professorkauri I feel like due to the nature of the games, that’s unlikely to happen. Unless Powercreep gets SO BAD that the early route rodent is on OU it’s unfortunately probably not gonna happen
@@tropicalbytsanity7845 I fully agree, but still hope for it anyways 😆
i love the creativity behind teramax baxcalibur's typing, but a 4x weakness on a stronger form of the qseudo legendary just doesnt seem quite right to me
That’s fair. I picked the type combo as it was unused and for the theme I was looking for, not to be the most advantageous. I like the idea of some forms of pseudo legendaries to be weaker and more “normal” stats, whereas other normal Pokémon become pseudo legendaries in their new forms, like Teramax Dudunsparce
I love the scovillain and dudunsparce
Thank you 😊
This would make a lot of sense, but its a bit sad that mega evolution (the first form change gimmick) and az’s ultimate weapon causing the burst of infinity energy, making all of this possible, werent mentioned
First form changing gimmick?
It's first EVER gimmick
And now we have terapogos possible pre evolution?
Maybe! I reckon Terapagos will get a second form of some sort, but an evolution for a legendary is unlikely
My man's Pikachu Max-a-Maxed and he's just walking around 💀
It's the third time Pikachu has done this, the novelty has worn off 😆
@@professorkauri
Pikachu gotta get some new material, try charring a 10-year-old boy--... nevermind, he did that too
@@hondaaccord1399 Haha. Yeah... Not a lot Pikachu hasn't done.
This is an amazing theory you should have more sub
Thank you! 😁
I love these conseps and ypur chanel!
Thanks Matilda! Glad you're enjoying them!
5:29 want some help with Tera raids to get some more I know a few of the best
Might need to! 😆
I’d say that teramax baxcaliber would either be a [ice steel], or a [dragon steel], though I’m leaning towards ice more than dragon
Most likely, but for this theory, I wanted to give each pokemon two types, and neither of those types could be similar to their original ones. So ice and dragon were not an option in this case. I think there could be many great other typings, but thematically this one worked for the idea I had.
@@professorkauri ah! Okay thank you for explaining!
Bro if someone turns the animation part into a game where you can just hang out and do pokemon roleplays I would hand all my money
That would be a lot of fun 😄
These teramax forms look so cool and is definitely giving the redemption to dudunsparce
This is such a good idea and it’s hard to say that gamefreak has no choice but to do this since they are always trying to add some exclusivity to their gimmicks
Thank you!
It does feel like a wasted opportunity that they didn’t do this, but maybe in the DLC
Teramax Scovillain is basically Hydreigon on land
Haha, it kinda does
Nice
WHY DOES HE HAVE ONLY 776 SUBS??!
Haha, I’ve barely started my channel, I thought that many subscribers was doing well for so early 😆
Scovillain gives me Green Goblin vibes.
Haha, so it does!
Do teramax forms for:
Meowscarada
Scelidirge
Quaquaval
Pawmot
Spidops
Lokix
Oinkolonge
Flamigo
Kilowatrell
Dashbun
Garganical
Arboliva
Glimmora
We will see 😁
I like it but there’s a problem pokemon can have multiple Tera types so Tera max forms would have to be 9 per pokemon or something
Yeah, the number of forms would need to be limited, similar to how Gigantamax forms were limited, and likely only one Teramax form per pokemon
That's awesome, but why give teramax baxcalibur normal?
It was an unused type combination I wanted to try and use, haha. There would possibly be better types you could combine, but I liked the idea of a “normal” everyday Knight in armour theme. So I didn’t pick it to be the most powerful, but the most thematic for the idea I had. I did consider other type combos beforehand, but settled in this one
@@professorkauri that's awesome but why is teramax scovillain the only one that doesn't sport an unused type combo
10:43 why not call it a 5 segment? It got 5 segments instead of 4
I think Dusty mis-counted the segments during recording 😆
@@professorkauri oh 😂😂 not hating we all make mistakes
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
It’s an interesting concept, and could make some sense, if only game freak would do something like this.
Paradox Pokémon have given them a bit of a creative outlet, convergent pokemon let them try even more ideas. But yes, I wish game freak pushed things more for variety
@@professorkauri true
It should be called ronnalizing.
Teramax Dudunsparce is what we should have gotten instead of Dudunsparce.
Aw, Thanks! So glad you love it that much! I'm extremely happy with how the design turned out.
Two pokemon have to have teramax (even if few want it including me they would 100% make) teramax pikachu and charizard
Yeah, that’s pretty much a guarantee for any new gimmick 😆
@@professorkauri didi you know that players have found mega pokemon sprites in the game what if you need a new kind of mega stone and a tera orb to do teramax?
I did hear after making this video about the mega evolution sprites. It will be interesting to see how they incorporate them into the game. I don’t feel like they would be connected to a potential Teramax form, but I think they would more likely have a connection to paradox forms. Like if you had to transform a mega stone into a paradox stone, and putting this on the matching Pokémon would convert it to its paradox form.
I thought it would be teralize instead of teramax
There would be many possible names, but I liked this one 😊
Actually my alpha wrydeer is bigger than the noble which scares me
Interesting! Hadn’t heard of that before!
With Terapagos coming, your theory might actually be true!
Possibly! Or I hope they do something similar at least. Otherwise terapagos wouldn’t bring anything new to the game other than some lore.
I had a similar idea with mega evolution thats tera evolution
It would be cool to see something like that implemented
@@professorkauri yeah it would be like a pokemon that can already mega evolve mega evolving into a powered-up version of their mega form based on what type the mega form is. Mega Aggron T would be steel-terastalized.
That’s a really cool concept!
Video starts at 9 minutes 💀
I take it you found the theory part a bit boring 😅
Creating fakemon based around theory explanations is something I plan to do a lot of. What do you think would have made the overall video more engaging for you?
Why Dusty looking so Psychic-type on here tho?
That’s the character from his banner art where he’s somewhat of a psychic type.
My Headcanon is like future sight 😂
okay not completely out of topic
can we all just discuss how stupid Sword and Shield plot was all to just make one man a reason to be villain
he became villain for wanting to research on eternatus and control it to powerup galar
after he was jailed just what the hell was leon, and magnolia were doing?
THE EXACT SAME THING AS ROSE WANTED, that's so stupid, they could've supported him when he wanted help to control eternatus no they had to make him the bad guy
he couldn't control it on his own and it ran berserk and he took responsibility and went to police
that's such a dumb plot pkmn writers suck
no one other than Giovanni were written as pure evil, they just make stupid plots to make these bomb looking characters evil
I did feel the Sword and Shield plot was lacklustre. There wasn't a solid head villain, and there wasn't a properly evil team. But that seems to be the way the Pokemon games are going now.
If they'd given Chairman Rose a Lex Luthor complex, subtly trying to monopolise the region while presenting a generous facade, it would have felt more satisfying to fight against and beat him.
I hate the name teramax
Each to their own 😁 what would you have called it?
I would have called it TeraCry
for 1 reason
The crystal energy takes over, mutating the pokemon; making it stronger
Interesting concept!
@proffesorkauri Aww 😍 thanks for replying to me yesterday!!! I really hope that when you have like 10 MILLION Subs (and BELIVE ME you will 😉) you still take time to reply to your comments, honestly you could make someone’s entire DAY! Just by doing that! , BTW What are your thoughts on S/V DLC What do you hope for?
Thank you 😁
I'll always reply to as many comments as I can find time for, discussing and sharing ideas is a big reason for starting this channel in the first place.
Hmmm... I'm not completely certain for S/V DLC as I haven't yet played the base games. I would love to explore the origin locations of the paradox pokemon, Cayla's Capsule had a great video on the Time Machine reaching into the past and present of the pokemon multiverse. It'd be amazing to jump through the Time Machine and explore two multi-versal versions of Paldea.
@@professorkauri I watched Cayla’s vid and I really enjoyed it , thanks for the recommendation! I really liked the Closed loop 🔁 Idea… 🤔💭.
Have you heard about the IMAGINATION 🌈 CREATION Theory? It basically means that the Paradox Pokemon came from Heaths mind.
Glad you checked it out and liked it!
Yes, I have heard of that. It’s certainly not impossible given the already existing legendary Pokémon and the unown. I’m not completely sure I’m sold on it though. I feels there’s a couple of inconsistencies in that theory, but the DLC could provide the missing pieces to show it actually works 😊
Yeah tbh I’m not really sold on it either I think like Cayla’s theory better. There’s still A LOT we just don’t know about the paradox pokemon (You could honestly make a video out of that) but I guess we’ll have to wait till the DLC comes out 😅
