I'd love to see Seann reunite with The Rock for a "Rundown 2" movie. The first one is seriously underrated and I still consider it to be my favorite Dwayne Johnson movie ever.
@@D9Wx That's funny, because I remember back before the movie was released and still in production, it was called "Hell Dorado", and when it was released in theaters as "The Rundown", I was confused. They were definitely having trouble how to properly market the movie it seems. Especially since it was only The Rock's 2nd or 3rd leading role in a movie, so producers were probably worried about his being able to carry a movie because he was still considered a wrestler at the time.
Well, as a future movie director, I am hoping to bring Sean back to fame. So nonetheless, I have been thinking about making a film with him, but co-starring Seth Rogen, Jacob Tremblay (even though Seth casted him but did not co-star with him), and James Deen. With cameos by Oprah Winfrey, Riley Reid, Godfrey, Matt Dillon.
Check out GOON. It's his best movie, probably. Certainly his best part, anyway. Funny and sweet, and written by Jay Baruchel of all people. The sequel is just about okay.
The Goon, The Rundown, Dude where's my car, American Pie, Role Models and even Bulletproof Monk were all great. He's had a pretty solid career, but he could definitely use a big hit of a movie to come back to the spotlight.
Ayyy! Patricia Scott (Seanns mom) went to church with my family. I remember meeting seann when I was young and he had just done an OJ commercial or Hi-c or something. His parents renewed their vows with my parents at Woodland Hills Church in MN. So cool to see where he ended up!
I was staying in San Francisco with some friends when I read one of their magazines. It was Jane magazine and they ripped him apart. He was nothing, but respectful and kind in the interview. They tried to tear him down because he was playing a bunch of masculine roles, his fame started to immediately dwindle. It’s great to see him back and I wish nothing but the best.
I'm super glad that Sean William Scott has been able to find roles and keep doing what he wants to do (acting). I remember watchin vids about "Why Sean william scott won't get roles anymore" and now he has been doing lethal weapon, and now this. Glad he can continue acting!
They have a similarity, but not every role Evans has played can be swapped out with Scott... Snowpiercer for example, was a great job by Evans, and I don't see Scott fitting that role as well, but I can totally see Scott being just as good or better Johnny Storm. And I never liked Evans as Cap, he was always too scrawny for the role, and I'd say the same for Scott. Scott would be an excellent Flash, Green Lantern, Plastic Man, Johnny Storm, Starlord... basically any sarcastic and athletic character.
I never heard his actual voice. I've only ever heard his "American Pie"/"Dude, Where's My Car" accent that he uses in nearly every late 1990's to mid 2000's movie. He seems like a cool guy.
He is so such an underrated actor. Sadly, he got cast in so many comedic roles he was almost typecast. However, he got some dramatic roles too. Man, I saw him in one movie - straight to DVD. He plays a thief. No comedy - just total drama and suspense - and it was a pretty cool movie and was awesome in it. First time I didnt see him in a Stiffler filter. Not oscar worthy, but he definitely, shouldve gotten a golden globe or people's choice nod.
Fun fact: he had a few scenes in American Beauty which wound up cut due to his also starring in American Pie with fellow cast mate Mena Suvari. Apparently his role was pretty dark. I wonder had he been in the final movie what path his career might have taken. Hopefully Bloodline opens up those kinds of opportunities for him now. Stiffler was funny and I loved Role Models but I can imagine the actor got pretty fed up always making comedies.
Comedians themselves have said that they themselves are comedians because of their sadness/darkness, so this title makes a lot of sense to me. Also, LOVE YOU STIFFMEISTER! :D
Very true!! But Seann isn't a comedian, he's more of a comedic actor and not really even that, in actuality. I enjoy all the movies he's in even if they're not the most distinguished lol. Hollywood should give him more work!
This guy is such a solid comedic character actor but, I have wondered over the years why he didn't get a shot at a starring role that made him a household name. The only answer I can figure is: he's become so well known for playing lovably crass, mentally juvenile characters. If he were to be given a serious opportunity in a massive movie he would have to sacrifice that a bit and the audience would have to make an adjustment that studio execs aren't sure they be willing to do. Aside from that, he's still carved out a respectable career. I hope he gets that opportunity.
but that has to suck for him if he wants to try other kinds of roles and do unusual parts. I dunno but after the mid 2000's he really gives off vibes like he deals with depression
Seann is super Underrated
Maybe he likes that though? Although I'm sure he would like the big paydays
Totally agree
Is he though? He's a comedy b-lister who's probably made tons of money.
He should play the human torch
I liked Bulletproof Monk
This guy hasn't aged a day since I've first seen him.
He's the Stiffmister

He saw him for the first time at the beginning of this video, so it’s not that profound.
I'm surprised Sean didn't get bigger after American pie, he's so good.
Jazzy Jaz I’ve heard rumors he’s really hard to work with that’s why he never had great success.. like I said it could just be a Hollywood rumor
I mean dude where's my car brought him a lot of attention but after that he just couldn't stop getting typecast as the party guy in comedy movies
He must have stopped lifting weights

Both Deadpool & Starlord !

I hope this role restarts his career. He's a phenomenal actor.

Can't believe how far he dropped off the map. He was so great in The Rundown.

He did a lot of indie films after that, lower budget stuff. He's great!

I'm so uncomfortable seeing Conan's legs. They're like toothpicks.
He reminds me of Sponge Bob
Toothpicks wearing bendy straws.
That's very rude. And accurate
then dont look dumbass
I mean, we've been warned like, a hundred times by Conan himself. 😂
That is the same Jacket as in 2008 on Conan. Wow.

Goon is an awesome movie, and goon 2 is just as good.

He should play Cyclops in whatever Xmen movie Marvel makes.
Maybe new Logan
Dude. Good choice. Someone would have to believe in him. Has anyone checked out his flick?
Rico The Protagonist lol if he wants to get typecast again he could play Bobby Drake (Ice Man).
Where are you my love?
I just came from watching the clip from '08, and Seann looks like he just had a haircut and nothing else.
He’s a great actor. He’d be a better Ryan Reynolds, maybe. I feel like he’s just more believable but also more genuinely funny.
definitely
Just think if those two did a comedy
Hollywood give Sean William Scott more work, he plays a great villain and bad guy
