A lot of people tell me the same thing that they never knew that the real reason why hashem destroyed both temples was because the Jewish nation didn't stop crying and complaining and the only way to build back up the 3rd one is by simply thanking hashem for all the little things that we have in our lives

I'm not sure about אויב, but everyone else who thanked got a better life.
That tells me that up until they start thinking they did not even believe in God at all reason for that is if someone believes in something even if it's not God just believe in something you will be successful so so if the life got better by thinking that means they did not believe in God at all to begin with
