Hey Greg, lately I was blessed to come across your sermons and have been enriched with your preaching. You have made a real difference in my life espeially lately due to lots of really difficult moments (cancer for me for the second time shortly after my brother died from cancer, etc) Please know that Almighty God is helping me greatly through your ministry. God bless you brother.
None of those claims will ever truly change your belief one way or the other. If God touched you before through his son Jesus Christ, when you asked for him by name, those claims of authorship shouldn't be troubling at all. I was of similar mind. I've read VOLUMES for, and against, the ideas of Christ. But once I succumbed to the notions, and challenged Jesus to PROVE IT to me. He did. Now there isn't a piece of literature on earth that can convince me otherwise.
Greg, I saw you during a crusade in 1998 in Rochester when I was a teenager and a Christ-follower. I would argue that since then, after many years of walking the narrow road you describe, I have found a road even more narrow, even more costly, which is to accept that Christianity isn't true. I wish, for the sake of everyone you influence, you would do the same.
What made you conclude that? I mean the alternative is rejecting God's existence - and that leaves you with the scientific and logical impossibility that nothing created everything.
Where do you guys get the balls to call the route of psychology, philosophy and science, the NARROW ROAD?? When I walk with books of that nature NOBODY gives me a hassle. But the days I carry a Bible, EVERYBODY has something to say and ridicules me (which is actually more proof of its authenticity because it clearly says I'll be ridiculed for such). Oh, and if you think there's a pastor on earth who HASNT entertained the notion that their wrong, you're more naive now than you were as a teen.
But the Bible says that the road is narrow. And the cost that you'll pay here on earth is nothing compared to the wonderful reality of the rewards and great things waiting for you in heaven. Even Christ suffered. I wish you'll recant the rejection of Christ and come back to him. He's waiting for you :)
Think about this logically, all spirituality and religion aside. How is it possible that i can read the bible and simple words on a page that can lead me to live a life of a peace i cant explain through principles that stand up to scrutiny? Who the heck put together 66 books via 40 authors ,with authors somehow coordinated over 1500 years, that if studied, show design and a continuous theme?and why was this done? I know ive witnessed miracles and i am a totally different person compared to who i was before Christ. All that aside,i weight up in my thoughts like a juror would in a court room and the evidence i have points toward a creator and His Son Jesus Christ. It sounds crazy hey,its either all just fairy tales or some great conspiracy to control the masses etc or the other option...its all true??

Amen Brother.

Why would you WISH that someone choose to "accept that Christianity isn't true"???

We will be ridiculed for his namesake. Rejoice and be happy on that day.
Dr Ravi Zacharias can debate ANYONE about it.
