These hymns are slowly being replaced by "gospel rock" songs which for the most part contain less and less doctrinal and biblical truth in their lyrics. So glad I found this channel from India. God bless, and greetings from the Netherlands and Suriname!
What I understood from the bible it says "the first will become the last and vice versa". Probably this is among what it means and has happened in Europe. Sad to see the negative effect of capitalism on religion practising. Former British colonials are still quite strong today but a few generations to come hard to tell. May God have mercy

A comment from a born again Christian in Canada. I was truly blessed listening to my beautiful brothers and sisters in Christ sing this great old hymn. So much truth in the words of this song. Thank you for posting this. It brought tears to my eyes. Our world is so cold and hard and evil in these times. But your praises to God bring our focus back on Him. God bless you. This is a Protestant ecumenical choir from South India. This group called CLASSIC HYMNS...can be viewed on RUclips. Many people are surprised that there are Christians in India!...The fact is that St. Thomas,one of the 12 disciples of Lord Jesus went to the subcontinent of India ..to.the present State of Kerala to be specific.....aka...God's Own Country as it is called..to preach the good news....but sadly, he was murdered outside the city of Madras in the present State of Tamil Nadu.. now called Chennai. Mount St. Thomas, on the outskirts of Chennai is named in his honor!.

It's hearing songs like this sung by brothers and sisters around the world that gets me so excited to spend eternity with all of God's people praising His great name.
South Indian Church choirs sing these hymns very well. This is probably due to to the fact that they were educated in Christian (Catholic, Protestant, Methodist and Ecumenical) schools and colleges in India. These Christians are thoroughly modern, very cosmopolitan, yet humble. Most of them are doctors and engineers. This is a wedding at my old Church, the beautiful St. Marks Cathedral in the city of Bangalore in South India. Something so peaceful about it. Mainly each album (about 12-14 hymns in each).are done with prayerful preparation and planning with many months of practice . So glad that it is reaching out and blessing millions across the globe at such a time as this. Oh that we will all have victory over sin in our lives and join that ransomed throng, saved at last by God’s grace , to live with Him and the saved of the earth through the ceaseless ages of eternity when JESUS comes again . He is coming AGAIN. Coming to take His people home. NOTHING in this world can prevent that great and momentous occasion. We should not let this promise leave us terribly and tragically disappointed if we find ourselves unprepared for that blessed event . Like the thief on the cross who was crucified at the side of the Saviour we too can cry out ( daily) Lord, remember me when you come in your kingdom and live as we genuinely mean it. Praises be to our Creator and our great God.

When I hear Christians singing to the glory of God from different nationalities, I am so moved by it. I get "goose bumps" even as I write this. It's truly the fulfillment of Ezekiel 36: 24 to 28, right before my eyes, and exactly why since the first century, we were commanded to go into the entire world with the Gospel message. Man, I'm so thankful Christ Jesus came into my life! Keep singing to his Glory!!!
