Why I Think You Should Watch Fate/Stay Night Before Zero

While I'd agree with all your points if we were taking about the visual novel, I don't think these apply to the anime adaptations. Ufotable adapted Zero first so that UBW would make sense without Deen's adaptation of the first route, and I'd say the did a pretty good job. But also, I don't think I'd ever recommend Deen's adaptation as an entry point to begin with

There's a lot of fans that would say to never start with Deen's adaptation. And to some extent I understand why.
There is a reason people have been asking for a Ufotable remake of the Saber route for so long now, so I get it. But I still think the Deen adaptation is pretty fine as a starting point.
Fair argument here however.

I started fate zero simply bc majority of what I looked into said I started with zero. You are correct when you said that watching stay/night after sours my fate experience. But I would do this watch order again because I get to see how much the heroic spirit branches off to myths, legends, and future spirits instead of just heroes and kings of recorded history

to be fair i start with fate stay night because it was the first created so i was like well let's start with it and enjoy the series from this day (and deen stay night was really enjoyable and cool and the soundtrack was one of the best of the franchise for me)

Deen's adaptation of the Saber route is amazing, they did an Unlimited Blade Works adaptation as well but not many people know about that one apparently.
The soundtrack for Deen's Saber route adaptation as well as all of the adaptations are so good 😋

​@@DetectiveMarill shirou x saber scenes were beautiful and funny, it was good but can be elevated to a greater next level 'if' ufotable want to remake the fate route. But oh well, it's absurd amount of coping so I let go of this request already.
Btw, saber's final scene with shirou was probably the most emotional and sad scene I ever watched/read in TM, have you felt the same?

There's lots of sad scenes, but I definitely agree with you on that being one of the saddest in Type-Moon visual novels
