I'm 52 years old. Played Blizzard RTS games all the way back to Warcraft 1 through Starcraft II. Found your videos and didn't even realize this game was still being played at a high level. I appreciate and enjoy your commentary. Makes me want to get back into it.
It's more of a commentary of how bad and ideologically poisoned the industry has been since Hell Starcraft 1 has a bigger competitive scene than Starcraft 2 just much more Korea locked, LOTV and such, when there was still active development, kind of took big chunks from the game
Looks like there has been quite a few changes to the game since I last played. Probably been 15 years ago now. The game still looks to be a lot of fun and competitive even with newer games today.

Despite idiots who keep calling the game "dead," the ladder is still very much alive, and bigger and bigger tournaments keep happening, including an upcoming million-dollar one. There's honestly never been a better time to jump back into it. Glhf!
From a lore and gameplay perspective, motherships should be immune to yoinks of all kinds. Absurdity of the highest order that a winged worm can yoink a flying city. Also, the 'incident' lmao!
SPOILER wow Trap showed a lot of grit to commit to the base trades. Hard to confidently do so when the stakes are high, since it can be a thin line between a winning trade, and just looking silly.
@bkeerz an argument could be made for trap or showtime depending on your personal position. For example, recency bias or just general worse skill during traps time of fame or just the general chaos trap routinely had to deal with are both arguments in either direction

Honestly, I feel like the Amphion game was won in spite of the glaives attack, not because of it. That said, it is nice seeing a shake-up in the PvZ meta.
With Serral gone for now it should be painfully clear how terribly balanced Zerg is for fair game. Protos have been buffed against terran but also become basically unbeatable with similar or higher(!) APM/skill zerg now
For the Zoun card, what does it mean by builds faster. Shouldn't that be fires faster? Doesn't seem quite right for the silly character modificers that one.
@@chaotic509 No it hasn't. Balance has been great over 4 years but Protoss has been favored against Zerg at pro level for 90% of that time. Check the tournament results on aligulac yourself.
