for some reason, "The promised neverland" just gives off this different kind of vibe which most animes don't. I can't really explain it. It's like the mixture of sadness, friendship, nostalgia, a family's love, adventure, emptiness and loneliness.
It's similar to the old fashioned fairy tales of times of old. Just with new spins and some newer tech. It's primal and gives you the old fear the old stories used to. Before they where made " child" friendly.

She became a mother to survive and had no choice in the fate of her children. Like she song says “the world is against me, I cannot fight.” This shows that no matter how bad she wanted to tell all of them to leave and escape. She couldn’t . As she hummed this song while walking the children to the gate was her own way of saying she’s sorry, by giving them peace and calm as long as she could. The reason she wanted Emma to become a mom was because she wanted to save her, even if her life would be miserable. Her moments where she let everyone leave was full of peace, because she could now rest assured that they would be free

From the beginning of the Anime, I knew that Isabella wasn't a bad guy. Probably because every bad guy has to do something they never ever wanted to do. 😔

Isabella is not a villian, she is just misunderstood, she chose to be a mom just to live longer. The fact that Isabella doesn’t actually want to do this to the children makes it even more sad. She was actually happy when the kids escaped, knowing that she didn’t escape herself, she was still happy because she was the one who put the kids through this life and that they deserve it more than her. She said she gave birth to Ray just to live longer and survive, she doesn’t want to get eaten by demons. She loves her children just like they were her own, she is doing this just to save her own life. This is just a thought that came up while I was listening to this. Imagine a mother comforting her dying daughter in a hospital. The girl starts crying because she doesn't want to die. The mom starts to sing this song to calm her down. As the song goes, the heartbeat moniter starts beeping faster and faster, as the girl starts to pass on. And after that pause in the lyrics, she breaks out into sobs as she sings her soul out to her dead daughter. Giving her prayers to whatever is up there to protect her daughter and ensure her happiness. The hospital staff and the girls family members stay still in silence, with tears running down their faces. The feel nothing but pain and sadness while she's singing.

To me this the real Isabella. I do believe that after each shipment, she is moarnefull. She doesn't want to send the kids to their deaths and wants to fight back but she knows that she can't. Even though this is non cannon I believe with all of my soul that this is the real Isabella.

Isabella is not a villian, she is just misunderstood, she chose to be a mom just to live longer.
The fact that Isabella doesn’t actually want to do this to the children makes it even more sad.
She was actually happy when the kids escaped, knowing that she didn’t escape herself, she was still happy because she was the one who put the kids through this life and that they deserve it more than her.
She said she gave birth to Ray just to live longer and survive, she doesn’t want to get eaten by demons.
She loves her children just like they were her own, she is doing this just to save her own life.
She had no choice but to do this to the children, she hums the song every time its time to ship one of the kids out because she knows that she can’t cry in front of the kids because they don’t know whats behind the gate, if she did then they will have an uneasy feeling about going in.

This is just a thought that came up while I was listening to this.
Imagine a mother comforting her dying daughter in a hospital. The girl starts crying because she doesn't want to die. The mom starts to sing this song to calm her down. As the song goes, the heartbeat moniter starts beeping faster and faster, as the girl starts to pass on. And after that pause in the lyrics, she breaks out into sobs as she sings her soul out to her dead daughter. Giving her prayers to whatever is up there to protect her daughter and ensure her happiness. The hospital staff and the girls family members stay still in silence, with tears running down their faces. The feel nothing but pain and sadness while she's singing.
I started crying while I read this and I don't know why. I can honestly envision this perfectly in every detail...

isabella was also known to be the youngest mother in the plants. it’s very tragic because she loved every kid truly and took care of them so well as if they were her real children. when norman asked if she was happy, she had to lie. imagine the pain she would’ve felt just by saying she was happy. now that i think about it.. isabella tried to escape but gave up too quickly. she admired emma and the others for not giving up like her. oh, how everything would’ve changed completely if her crush didn’t get shipped out before and they got to escape together. i have a feeling she felt so guilty for breaking emmas leg and having to say she just hurt herself and it was a small bruise.
she may be like a very mean person..
but every villain has a heart of gold and also have done/seen some traumatic things that hurt them. she’s my ultimate favourite character considering this is the only anime i ever binge watch. her lullaby (originated from leslie) is definitely a melody that just can’t get out of my head. this is a beautiful song and the lyrics fit so well to the film! bravo.
