Whether it's Salman or Amir both have striven so hard , Salman's father was even more poor , saroj Khan told in her show that Salman hasn't used his father's name and struggled a lot with audition and all , I remember once Salman told Electricity department used to cut the electricity and phone line. I believe in past this generation in India was more self reliant now many people are very fine to use their father's name

the fees was so low that they forgot to pay, his family might had money problem but not so much that they could not pay 7 or 8 rs , they still had car and house in posh area. my father was self made man he was lawyer there were months when he got very little money we all lived within our means but he paid our home rent, fees etc his duties on time after that only he would spend money on anything else but we always had healthy food and shelter and cloth. i still remember there was this this molester rascal IG , IPS officer Shambu Rathore due to whom Ruchika Girhotra a 14yr old had to comitt suicide ....this rich man had all the money to buy judges , etc while dint pay his own daughters school fees which was nominal his daughter was same age as the victim, but his evil daughter and wife also supported him in henious crime
