Thanks for this excellent playthrough! Loved your enthusiasm and voices. It increased my excitement for getting this. My copy should be arriving tomorrow. I can't wait. This looks so much easier to get to the table than even Jaws of the Lion. ☺️
Always love your playthroughs Jason! I’m excited for this one. It seems a lot more straightforward than I had initially thought, but should be very fun once it arrives.
Got my copy in yesterday and I love it, but man 4 card hand size is rough. Took 4 tries to get through scenario 2 between exhausting or enemy getting lucky rolls. May change out the plus minus dice for a more balanced dice. Noticed mine really favors the same plus.
Thank you so much for this fun playthrough Jason :D - Soooooooo cute ..... finally epic Haven to carry around - even if we got shrunk :P Still think this was the best part of the last campaign ^^
great playthrough, but having gotten it yesterday and started playing, I must wonder if you might be colourblind. I say this because the colour cubes for the enemies should match the colour printed on the card (so you know which one is each)
I tried to fund the kickstarter for this. But since it was my first time doing so I couldn't get it to work. I think they didn't do paypall only creditcard. This sure looks fun. Might even be small enough to bring on vacation
This looks great - seems like it streamlines some of the bits of “proper” Gloomhaven that I find rather fiddly. What’s the component quality like though - looks like from the playthrough that the cards are a bit warped?
I'm really looking forward to playing it really solo with just one character. Sadly the art is very bad compared to OG GH and JOTL :-( the art looked definetly better at the beginning of the campaing
More than an idea. It is a very good representation of the core system. Once you play this, you could pick up Gloomhaven very easily. The video game is good, too!
@@Hinarcia I do recommend the video game. I generally play most board games solo due to my life situation, but my brother talked on the phone will playing the video game version -- tons of fun that way!
If you have a group to play with you should get Jaws of the Lion to see if it's for you. It's pretty decently priced and give a great idea of what Gloom/Frost play like. I don't think anyone should buy GH/FH without having played Jaws of the Lion first to see if it's something they want much more of.
@@icydeadpeeps Thank you I will consider that too. I just started to play these kind of games together. I was indeed looking at that one too, then I will start there if we pick it up together :)
I'm sold. At first I was thinking, "Another gloomhaven?! Ugh....I didn't even beat the first one and I don't think I ever will..." As I watched your playthrough I saw how simplified it was, how condensed it got and I was LITERALLY thinking just today, "why can't we have a more simplified campaign styled game?" I think I will definitely pick this up on release! By the way, how many characters can you play in this version?? I've unlocked about half of the characters solo right now and loved many of the unlocked characters more than the base so I was wondering if there were more than just the 6 shown? If not I'd still pick it up, just how simple everything is yet still having the character progression and loot aspect is amazing.
Thanks for the playthrough. Jaws of the Lion? Nope. Nibbles of the cat.
Not too much lion here. For the best!
I really enjoy your playthroughs. You always seem to have so much fun, and your enthusiasm is fantastic
That's so awesome to hear, thank you! I can't fake the funk, I'm having as much fun as I seem. At least when I'm not editing :).

If you are at all familiar with Gloomhaven, this one fits like a glove.
Amazing Playthrough. That game is looking awesome. Exactly what i need since i have no one to play GH / FH with me.
I feel that!

That was a very fun watch! Did a great job explaining plays while keeping the pace up.
Thanks so much for the nice comment!
Thanks for another great playthrough. It is always wonderful to hear your voices and laughing while you play :) Can feel the joy through the screen!
Glad to bring a smile to your face :)
Great playthrough! Love how much you enjoy gaming!

So it’s Tiny Epic Gloomhaven! 😁At least it will fit on my table.
Just got my copy minutes ago. I thought I'd watch some until I get a chance to play.
I can't wait next month when i receive my copy. :)

The colors are just printed badly.
Good stuff! I just got my set.

I wouldn’t say this is top quality card stock. It flattens out with a bit a wear tho. I haven’t had a problem.

Where can one get this game?
It should be widely available pretty soon. They don't want to keep it a secret.
Looked to preorder it, shipping to France is more than the price of the game ....
I hope it proves popular enough to where it can get worldwide distribution. Or it can at least be made available around a big European convention.
Is this something that gives you an idea what gloomhaven is about? Because I have been looking at gloomhaven, but its too expensive to just try.

@OneStopCoopShop a great I will pick this up then.

Mine came with the 6. I imagine there will be room for more at some point.
