Interesting, The one-way valves need some pressure difference to allow flow, which could be part of the issue. That the 1.05atm just pushes 1.5L/s through the flow valve. (So initially the 3 valves opened just added 3 more ways to allow flow.) Somewhere while sinking, you can see the flow valve not having any flow, but the 3 ports still throw fluid in. At this point, the door lets out a mixture of water and air, fed by the relatively high water pressure from 4-5 blocks below the water level. The pressure should however not drop below 1.0 atm, Does it behave differently, when you close the door before opening the 3 ports?
not really other than speed. thing is i was also testing a box with 2 rooms, and things get weird there too. even if both sections had basically same setup when 1st section sank down by the front and goes vertical an air pocket forms and just oscillates pressures because the on/off valves are now in the air. the one im testing with has more extensive sensor loadout that this demo box
@@archadeseng.corpsgaming wow, was planning to build a submarine at some point and assumed I can just open some doors to let water in and later 'just' blow it out again with a high pressure air tank. Guess that isnt always as easy as it sounds.
@@AndyPue thats the interesting thing that could work too, at one sinking i had test box on its nose and somehow got 1.9 + atm built up inside then it pushed out 50% of the accumulated water back out of the box. thats like 60k L (150kL combined sections) just shoved out at ~2-300L/m from pressure
