I had a weird situation at JFK where Aeromexico pushed back, called for taxi, and when he got the taxi clearance, he went forwards....straight into the terminal, out the other side of the terminal, right into a Korean Air Boeing 747-400 that later requested pushback, across a parking lot, and out towards New York City. Haven't gotten the video up yet, but it was ridiculous.
For those wondering, the -500 came when Buggs cleared 2 aircraft for takeoff without the first plane being clear of the runway, DAL101 was still rolling when AAL2462 started rolling.
I enjoyed the timing of famous last words from both players just before the incident. "I love a game that allows you to enjoy your coffee", and " we are doing good, pretty good actually". lol
First 5 mins I was like this is gonna be boring then 30 mins later I realized I watched the whole thing you make things very interesting keep up the good work Jeff !!
Here is the mistake you got negative points for: 23:53 - Tower clears DAL101 for Take-off on 25R 24:05 - Tower tells AAL2462 to line up and wait on 25R 24:39 - Tower has some confusion over callsign (AAL2461 instead of ...2) and instruction (part take-off, part line-up), this command was probably not followed 24:55 - Tower clears AAL2462 for Take-off on 25R [There is no evidence that DAL101 ever got handed over to Departure.] So in conclusion: You cleared an Airbus 321 and a Boing 757-200 Heavy for take-off within 62 seconds of each other. This is okay IF the planned flight path takes them on different routes that are at least 45° apart right after they are airborne. If both do not initiate a turn by the end of the runway, the seperation minimum is 2 minutes (120 seconds). And it looks like the aircraft in this simulation always fly the same route (at least within your scope), so Tower caused a lack of seperation. (Which is very dangerous as take-off speed of a heavy 757 is slower than that of an A321, so AAL2462 caught up to DAL101 every second flown...)
I believe that was Arnie and the whole "The A320 going to Arizona" beginning. The line I said is when the Iberia can't taxi down the taxiway assigned due to being an A340
It's a great game, totally addictive - it took me a few hours to say the commands in the correct order, but once it became second nature the speech recognition is fantastic, even recognises my English accent although I do try to speak like Kennedy Steve just for my own amusement.
So you don't forget about contact departure. When you give clearance you can say "Southwest3456 Runway 24L cleared for takeoff, upon reaching altitude 1000 contact departure" then they will automatically contact departure
It depends on where you are. There are some places where this might be standard procedure, but not in the United States. It just wouldn't be realistic.
Sam Boon that's how they said it in the olympics and I'm not from their but it kind of triggers me when they mispronounce Puerto Rico, and they will obviously never miss pronounce the US (in from Texas by the way)
At 11:17, the pronunciation is actually incorrect and I too have been wrong for a while: Qatar, pronounced “cutter” is probably more in vogue now. It is replacing the older way, “kuh-TAR.” People who've had some interaction with the region might say, “gutter” a bit more - not inaccurate either. As many Qataris will tell you, the pronunciation can vary. - Google
I’ve always pronounced it kuh-TAR because that’s how everyone else says it and it sounds more viable than “kotter” to me, looking at the way it’s spelled.
You can combine the takeoff clearance and the instruction to contact departure: CALLSIGN, RUNWAY XX, CLEARED FOR TAKEOFF, UPON REACHING ALTITUDE ONE HUNDRED CONTACT DEPARTURE
It depends on where you are. There are some places where this might be standard procedure, but not in the United States. It just wouldn't be realistic.
You had DAL101 on Runway 25R already taking off and then you gave AAL2462 cleared for takeoff command for the same runway. Two planes on the same runway with cleared for takeoff instructions. That is why you were docked some 500 points..
Please play more with bugs! It’s fun to watch and less boring. However you always do LAX and I would greatly appreciate it if you did a different airport
Technically, the end of control for Ground is after the aircraft has stopped at the holding point of the runway, but you guys did a good job regardless.
BitsBytesGaming not really by the time you get to the runway you could be cleared for takeoff and just roll unto the runway and don’t forget there are more than one radio stacks to put in more than one frequency’s
Jeff it's cool watching this because I actually do all those pushback stuff and no we don't do 360s lol if you wanna know more about it feel free to ask!! Got the answers
it's important that your windows is set to English so it can recognize your speech. Mine was set to german and it just didn't work with the english ATC-commands. Hope this helps you :)
Hey Jeff, CYEG is Edmonton and CYWG is Winnipeg. Just so you know :) It would be great to do multiplayer with you through discord or something, I've been trying to get my Tower3D! Pro set up with real airlines but all I've been getting is a real pain in the arse :/
So this whole simulation video is as if one person had tower and one person had ground control of the entire airport all on the same channel? Does Tower! ever split up the frequencies like they do in real life such as Clearance delivery, tower for each runway assignment etc?
Wow, traffic is really clipping on the World Way loop. I guess nobody is being picked *or* dropped off, otherwise it would be a cluster fuck down there.
How do you know what to say to each aircraft? I want to be a pilot, I'm 17.ive been wanting to become a pilot since I was around 7. I know most of the technical stuff in the cockpit but nothing about radios...
travis McDowell I know that bit mate thank you for answering, I was just asking, where does they controller get his/her directions from? A computer? Because how would the controller know where that plane wants to go? Thanks Lewis.
Lewis - at least for this game, the departure direction is not relevant, as long as the plane departs. The instructions are to taxi to the nearest departing runway in such a way as to avoid collisions by monitoring other aircraft on the map (that's why he makes the map so big - to know where everyone he controls is). In real life, you might try and get the aircraft departing in the general direction of their destination, but that's another story...
Lewis MacQueen I think they do get everything from a computer but it is already prepared for them prior to departure. With runways aircraft at majority of airports will have to get clearance before they even push back or start engines. They will usually contact delivery for this and they will be assigned a runway for departure. Therefore the controllers doing other positions will be able to control them accordingly using this information . Usually majority of aircrafts tend to depart off the same runways so it becomes a situation whereby controller's will send them to the runway closest to their parked postion I assume or the most efficient runway (in terms of departure time). I ain't a genius or a aviation professional so don't quote me on this but I hope this is correct
It's technically still second - Air Canada is half the market while Westjet is about a third. That is is way better than Air Canada is indisputable - proven by the fact that a 20 year airline took that much market share from a near monopoly while generally retaining price parity.
I don't think I've ever clicked on a video faster. Jeff + Buggs + ATC = Pure Gold

@Alex Lightbody lol
Makes sense, thx
Mvp right there
Jeff had a stroke trying to say CONTACT TOWER there LMAO
After listening to a bunch of funny Live ATC recordings, I got a kick out of your "You're unable to to do everything in that plane of your's"
I believe that was Arnie and the whole "The A320 going to Arizona" beginning. The line I said is when the Iberia can't taxi down the taxiway assigned due to being an A340
Buggs cleared an aircraft to take off while another airplane was still on the runway. This is a runway incursion. That's the fault
I really liked the video keep up the good work and can you do more tower 3D
You guys are so fun working together on this. Please do keep this going haha!!
Love these with Buggs and Jeff Love to see more!
I love this series, and with the multiplayer with Buggs it's so much better (less chaotic/robotic)
Jeff this was cool seeing you guys do this. I recommend you do Philadelphia with Buggs during the 8am rush.
(It gets crazy)
Buggs sounds SUPER stoked about it. lol
If only they'd add more airlines, some European airports and things like random emergencies, this game has some huge potential
i would like a middle sized airport. like vienna or munich with only 2 runways.
Jeffs speech control is just so smooth its amazing!
well except for a few mess ups :p
Yes! With Buggs! Yay!!!
It's a great game, totally addictive - it took me a few hours to say the commands in the correct order, but once it became second nature the speech recognition is fantastic, even recognises my English accent although I do try to speak like Kennedy Steve just for my own amusement.
i guess it is kind of randomly asking but does anyone know of a good site to stream newly released series online?
@Alvaro Michael Flixportal
@Ira Casen thank you, signed up and it seems like a nice service =) I really appreciate it !
@Alvaro Michael glad I could help :D
Pleaseeeeee do more with buggs i absolutely loved this video.
Please do more of these. Really love the content. Keep up the good work.
Really enjoyed this Jeff... keep these vids coming!! :)
btw very proud as a Dutch guy you knew KLM !!
Tommy __007 HOLLANDER GEVONDEN
How did I watch this for 20 minutes straight? It's kinda interesting
I think the point was that the game allows this option...
Yes! another Tower!3D Pro video.
Appreciate seeing European airlines, like SAS and KLM.
Glad you guys actually said Qatar not qutur like a lot of people
Josue Caban never heard anyone say it like that lol
they got ethihad wrong though, I'm think its eTihad
Sam Boon that's how they said it in the olympics and I'm not from their but it kind of triggers me when they mispronounce Puerto Rico, and they will obviously never miss pronounce the US (in from Texas by the way)
You guys are the new privatized ATC
I'd love to see polecat do this, their would be planes crashing left and right.
I have no idea how you can even do that.. Amazing, lol. Great video too
Very entertaining guys! Keep 'em coming.
More of this with Buggs please!
very fun multiplayer tower 3D!!!!!

I’ve always pronounced it kuh-TAR because that’s how everyone else says it and it sounds more viable than “kotter” to me, looking at the way it’s spelled.
I love this game, can you play more with Buggs... Is there a San Diego Airport?!?
Loving these mate!
Unable to do anything in that plane of yours sir. Oh, Kennedy Ground. Lol
CODEEEE ZEROOOOOOOOOOOO AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL!!!!!! Lolll
Enjoyed MP much more than the single-player! Nice job guys!
Would be awesome if you got with Airforceproud95 and played this game together
Yes!
I agree 👍
You had DAL101 on Runway 25R already taking off and then you gave AAL2462 cleared for takeoff command for the same runway. Two planes on the same runway with cleared for takeoff instructions. That is why you were docked some 500 points..
i always do that at my unmatched air traffic controller
no problem
The pushbacks were amazing! I wish it were like that at real airports even if it did knock stuff around.
Please play more with bugs! It’s fun to watch and less boring. However you always do LAX and I would greatly appreciate it if you did a different airport
pls do more with Biggs
lightskingod yea but we both live in the bay and Biggs is fav so
Around 27:00 min Tower had 2 departures taking off too close to one a other on the South Runway
Love 3d tower
Awesome details in this game. KLM602 is the genuine flight number from LAX to AMS
More of this please!!!
I'm suing the airline for whiplash lol
Jeff and buggs on Tower 3D can my game get any better :)
Awesome video!
You and Buggs definitely need to do more of this!
omg, i JUST WATCHED THIS, CRACKING UP ALL THE WAY. I just spent solo at KMEM, and got Swamped...!!!!
More. That's all I have to say. I promise not to skip any ads for these videos for you.
I think u may also say: call-sign, wind 276 at 1 knot, rwy, cleared for take off
That's how they do it in the real world at most airports.
Callsign, windcheck, rwy, clearance (both take-off and landing)
Jeff it's cool watching this because I actually do all those pushback stuff and no we don't do 360s lol if you wanna know more about it feel free to ask!! Got the answers
Kylo Ren cosplayer Jeff worked at a airport before
joseph bond Really?
He worked at st.louis airport he he has worked on the biggest cargo plane Antonio and he made a video of it to
Learn something new every day haha I know exactly how it feels too
Yup I was a ramper for many years, pushed every airplane I can think of!
Great video jeff the one thing this could do with is different sounding accents :)
So satisfying to watch! Nice job to buggs also!
Jeff, are there any scenarios in this game where you have to alert a plane that there is a similar callsign on frequency?
Spirit Airlines has pushback trucks now?
CYEG is Edmonton!
CYEG is Edmonton Alberta.
KYEG is Edmonton, KYWG would be Winnipeg
Do a different airport! Like JFK! And more multiplayer with bugs! (Question? Can you be approach and Departure)?
1 Player only.
Can you do more of this with bugs, I loved it. Oh and can you do it as you ground him tower?
paul Lindemann do you mean the other one around? That's how there doing it now. If you meant it the other way then they already have done it
do more Aviation Vids with Buggs and Polecat324 @Jeff Favignano
Yes Please!
Jeff! PLEASE make a video on how you got voice control to work!
Micky Block just Google "training windows voice recognition".
it's important that your windows is set to English so it can recognize your speech. Mine was set to german and it just didn't work with the english ATC-commands. Hope this helps you :)
It's funny watching this cause this is all I do all day at LAX
Troy Campbell I bet this is a nightmare for you to watch.
Hey Jeff are you trying to get buggs into aviation or does he want more knowledge?
Christhepilot 🤔
I wish I had someone to do Multiplayer ATC with.
Great video guys. Like the multiplayer
You know that it is multiplayer when u see that the video is only half an hour
8:52 gotta attack tower?
Oh shi-
That airtug that was "taxiing" the AAL25 was playing call of duty and doing his job
Hey Jeff, CYEG is Edmonton and CYWG is Winnipeg. Just so you know :) It would be great to do multiplayer with you through discord or something, I've been trying to get my Tower3D! Pro set up with real airlines but all I've been getting is a real pain in the arse :/
Both of you guys would make great air traffic controllers
Make more of that!!!!
Unable, we're going to be in the Hudson I was thinking the same thing
Hi Jeff! In the video you and Buggs were wondering what "KFAT" was, I'm pretty sure that would be Fresno, CA.
Conataka town lol I'm dying laughing 😂
More multiplayer Tower3D
puch back tugg drivers are drunk
Or stoned. Hey, it's LA! ;)
So this whole simulation video is as if one person had tower and one person had ground control of the entire airport all on the same channel? Does Tower! ever split up the frequencies like they do in real life such as Clearance delivery, tower for each runway assignment etc?
You have to try unmatched air traffic control pc version
I don't understand this game one bit but it seems legit
Wow, traffic is really clipping on the World Way loop. I guess nobody is being picked *or* dropped off, otherwise it would be a cluster fuck down there.
Thanks for listing for my suggestion!!!!!
no probs
Your awesome and thanks for the quick response
Jeff, If you buy the Pro it does not come with the actual airline call signs correct? If you get the tower 3d airline pack will it work with Pro?
Make another video with buggs
Hi, just to let you know you had a runway alert AAL2462 - DAL101. -500pts
lol "Conna taka towah"
hey good vid i love your DOJ vids
This is fun to watch as the son of an active pilot lol
How do you know what to say to each aircraft? I want to be a pilot, I'm 17.ive been wanting to become a pilot since I was around 7. I know most of the technical stuff in the cockpit but nothing about radios...
Lewis MacQueen look up the abbreviation of the plane and it will say where this company flys to and what the company name is
travis McDowell I know that bit mate thank you for answering, I was just asking, where does they controller get his/her directions from? A computer? Because how would the controller know where that plane wants to go?

Mathew Danton ah ok thanks!
West jet is the most popular airline in Canada. Especially Winnipeg ywg and Calgary yyc
It's technically still second - Air Canada is half the market while Westjet is about a third. That is is way better than Air Canada is indisputable - proven by the fact that a 20 year airline took that much market share from a near monopoly while generally retaining price parity.
CYEG is Edmonton Int’l. Winnipeg Int’l is CYWG
No I want more just like this but maybe on a different map.
Yes, PLEASE!
This game looks so much fun, problem, my english probably isnt good enough and looks helladifficult xD
You can use keyboard and mouse commands, even if it a bit more fiddly.
The captions are halarious
This is the best. I'm so happy
