Just picked some up for $100 at Target after listening to your review. I really like them so far! They feel and sound great. I love the active noise canceling. Going to be taking them with my on my trip to Hawaii this weekend, thanks for the review! Who knew Skullycandy could produce such great products.
That's great to hear! Perfect timing too and that's inspiring you're going to Hawaii. I've never been. Your first time going there? Feedback how they do on a flight will be awesome too since I didn't do that lol
Good choice! I'd rather take these because they actually come with a case, are more comfortable and are a better color. I even like the black ones but Skullcandy did way better than the Sony's especially for the price.
I can confirm, have had these for about a month, got them on sale for $100, and they deliver with everything they say they have, best purchase I’ve made in a while
Of course! What did you like best about the review? Also, if you have any other questions please let me know. These are on sale often for $99. Really fun pair of headphones for the price.
ayyy i picked these up, same color, only thing i’d say is it doesn’t block out all the background sound like the TV or ppl talking, and it lowkey gets uncomfy and hot within 10 minutes or so
Every now and then you get a product like this where you have no complaints, the price is right and you get a ton of value out of them. I've worn them off and on a lot till this day.
Just got these for Black Friday from Walmart for 50 bucks a few days ago! I am excited to try these out and ive always been a fan of skullcandy. I used to own the skullcandy wireless, and those were really good, and used to own the hesh 2's, and they were really good for the time.
About 5 month ago on my birthday i got these after and hour of looking. Amazing headphones my LG Velvet has a built in equalizer. And it also has built in settings like treble bass booster ect i have it set on bass booster but it is absolutely amazing i love it i use it during school. I have music playing 8 hours a day 5 days a week. I listen to music during classes and everything and in the loud hallways i turn my music all the way up it i cant hear a thing. I also use it while making music its a very good studio headphone
Hey thanks for the review, appreciate it! Before I go and get one of these, it seemed as though you're speaking from a distance and voice levels were pretty low during the mic test section. Do you have to speak louder while using the headphones mic?
Well I was in a real coffee shop during the mic test so I had no control over the environment, it was in and out but I'd say if I remember right about 70-80db in noise volume.
Hello, quick question, regarding durability, do these have the same problem as the Hesh 3? If you weren’t aware, they break super easily after a couple months of regular use. (The piece connecting the headphones with the body) I’m afraid of buying these and having that same problem again.
So far it's lasted really well. Yes, the 450BT's are a better buy than these for sure just because the sound quality is much better, the ANC is about the same but I'd prefet Sennheiser's 450BT over these.
I have a pair of mpow h21s and I love the sound on them but they don't have an ambient mode so no gym or bicycling with them. Is the ambient mode on the Hesh ANC good enough for cycling?
For $38 I found some jbl tune 710's which is just killer. I'm more than willing to give up ANC's at this point, especially if you get 50hr battery life. Should be a nice upgrade over my $35 sennhiser 4.4bt's, especially the larger ear cups, usb c and 2x the battery life.
can anyone give me some advice about whether to get these headphones or the sony xb-910n with the purpose of active noise cancellation? anc is basically my main priority and i'm on a budget. thanks!
Quality-wise and experience-wise I would say they've held up pretty well. I haven't noticed any connection issues any issues with overall hardware or anything.
@@TechOutAdam it is objective fact that anything over $50 is not a budget. you are fucking delusional if you think it is. moreover your statement is elitist. 90% of the worlds population can not afford $129 headphones eltiist prick

Idk if you're still looking for input but I just got the senheiser 450bt and hated them out of the box so much so that I returned them the next day and got the hesh anc. I've only had them for a few hours now and can tell you with all confidence they sound WAY better than the 450bt's in my personal experience. The best way I can describe the 450bt's audio is flat. Nothing stood out to me they just sounded flat.
At this point I'd recommend the Soundcore Space One's. I've been loving them. They're $99. I wish Soundcore would freaking pay me already but I can't lie in their quality.
That's actually a really good combo right there! You got the best of both worlds. I always tell people to go with the Hesh ANC's for affordability for sure.
Whew, great question. I'd go with the Crusher Evo's for two reasons: 1. Better build quality and it seems it will last much longer for the price you pay. 2. The noise isolation is good enough to do without ANC and the music quality is a little bit richer in overall performance. Just be careful about using the bass boost too much lol
@@TechOutAdam Hey Adam, great review of both the Hesh ANCs and Crusher Evos. Just wanted to tackle this question one last time before I purchase either one. In this video you mentioned the Crusher Evos felt uncomfortable and even gave you a slight headache after a while, mainly due to its weight. Having said that, would you still stand by your recommendation of the Crusher Evos over the Hesh ANCs? I’m mostly looking to use these at the gym/running. I feel the Hesh ANCs would be light enough to not feel like they’re going to fall off when running or picking up weights. Also, the ANC would help drown out the commotion inside the gym, and while running the ambient mode would help with situational awareness. However, the lack of bass boost + app EQ settings are preventing me from getting them. Would you say the Hesh ANCs *need* the bass boost & EQ to recover the reduction in sound quality from ANC being on? Or would the improvements be marginal at best? Thanks in advance Adam.
@@Tommy-iq5kx what did you end up buying because I have the same exact questions that you just asked I want them mainly for the gym do they do a good job on staying on your head and what about the hesh ans bass is it good if you tried them?
@@basharmina2345 They’ve been really good, with one big drawback that’s not mentioned in reviews for some reason. Pros: Very light, ANC is very good, very bass focused so good for extra push in the gym, comfortable, can go days without charging, charges super fast with usb-c, easy to clean, sturdy. Cons: No app support meaning no adjustable EQ presets. The biggest drawback with the Hesh ANC is that even though bass is very good, it’s only very good when ANC is NOT activated. Once ANC is on it pretty much cancels out all of that sweet juicy bass and the sound quality drops considerably. If only you could increase your bass while ANC is on like in the app or via boost slider. I now only use without ANC which pretty much makes the ANC useless to me at this point. Essentially a lighter version of the Crusher Evo. To be fair not using ANC or using ambient mode makes you more aware of your surroundings and safer without compromising sound quality. Ambient mode is great btw. I would go with the Crusher Evos because the ANC is not even a selling point if you’re sacrificing all your bass to use it.
So my Hesh 2s are wearing out a little bit, tbh they just need some cosmetic love but I might start looking for a pair of these at walmart or something, I'm mainly worried about how it fits considering my Hesh 2s are a little small, I just want something bigger that feels snug over my ears like my Turtle Beach Recon 200s
Put them up against the Soundcore Q30's. Night & Day...Soundcore wins easily...and only $79. I found the Hesh ANC to be too bassy and the kids & highs were muted...
You're the first one who complained about the build quality, can you please develop the idea, I really want to know if it's worth the money or not before buying the headset
