Just wanted to say, thanks for demoing the bass. Am getting it, and you demonstrated scooping the mids - the exact tone i was looking for! Even though it was not a professional setup, I still gleaned the required info that'll stop my cold feet. Thanks so much!
EQ off/on switch....I took the battery out of mine and tried the switch and there was no sound, I checked the Cort website and it states that it's a eq off/on switch not passive/active.
I have this bass since 5 years and it sounds great. I never had a 6-string bass before but the neck is smooth and strings pretty close to the neck so adapting to a wider neck was pretty easy. Maintains tunning very well, also quite resistant in general. Nice EQ, can be used to play any music style. The only con is that is the heaviest I've ever seen, and this gets problematic on long gigs or reharsals.
Doop Dank Doodle Sorry never weighted it, but I can tell you I've played with a lot of different basses (Warwick, Yamaha, Fender, Ibanez, MusicMan, even a Hyundai model...) and Cort A6 is, by far, the heaviest one. I think if you like them heavy, this is one is an excellent bass on top of that ;)
@@dylans4129 try IBANEZ BTB676 or Yamaha TRB1006J, you'll like the 35" scale and the weight. I ow an IBANEZ BTB 676 and a Yamaha TRB6 II, both 6 strings bass, 35" scale. Check it out, may be you gona like it.
Seems like all your basses sound very good! If I may ask, what type of amp and cabinet are u using? Is there something special going on with the mics ur using to record? How bout post production? I've always wanted to get a really good sound but haven't been able to accomplish that!

Grande baixo e grande baixista!
Fantástico!
yes it is.. is always active. I've a B4, with the same electronic configuration.
Comerzialien esta marca en México. 🎸😁. Es una excelente marca
Is not a active passive switch, is on of EQ. That's why it sounds the same flat

Killer tones... How much does it weigh?
Show de bola muito bom

Any idea exactly how heavy? I actually like the heavy basses and this thing is looking pretty good besides the rosewood fretboard
