Love all your lesson videos. Just the awesome sound of the bass and captions are not as distracting as constant narration. Keep em coming, man. I've been playing bass for years, and you've inspired me to try new things so kudos dude. You rock!
Just like the second collection, this too is pure gold! Such nice and concise demonstrations without wasting time to talk about the history of mankind first, like some other channels. I will dig this one out again and start practicing!
Thank you for the video lesson. Does it matter if your bass is a jazz or precision? I used to have a jazz bass and found it responded better if you thumped the strings but I got rid of it because the tapered neck was causing my fingers to get confused. I'm used to playing precision bass. Do you also need to tune your amplifier the correct way in order to hear the proper tone for slap bass? Thanks!
The precision basses have only that particular sound. If you aim to try different tones a jazz bass or basses with 2 pickups would be better. Make sure to always have nrew strings for slap. Thank you.
This might be a silly question, but I'm a noob. How can I get that tone? Do I need a distortion pedal? I own a passive bass and it doesn't sound anything like this.

Muchas gracias Maestro gracias por compartir 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You have incredible style and tone. The Precision bass rules for slap, i dont know what it is, but that hollow-scooped tone is unmistakable.
Thank you very much.
Фернандо, благодарю за замечательный урок!
Omg a 20 minute lesson. Im so lucky
Have fun...the other 10 lessons are coming next
Fernando thank you again! ❤️
Cool video!! Thanks, Fernando!!🔥🔥👍👍
can you post the tab version? just adding a tab for practise will be perfect for this lesson to be suitable for those who cant read five line tabs.
gracias por la lección hermano, epic slap!
Por nada!

missing ghost notes
muito bom mano
What bass is this? I love the 70's jazz tone! The pickups almost look like it is an Xotic but I'm not sure
All my basses are made by ZBass Guitars from Brazil. Check It at gebz.com.br
Awesome!
What do you recommend for setup?
Do you have a real low action and what gauge strings do you use?
Thanks in advance.
Hi...what kind of set up? Live or Studio? I use elixir 0.40 in all my basses🤞
@@FernandoPetryBASS sorry, I meant do you have a low action between the strings and the frets/neck.
nice!❤❤❤

No problem. Use new strings and make sure you have some treble (highs) for slap tones. Passive basses usually have a treble knob...make it 100%
where are available your tracks for training?
I Will post all the tracks until the end of this month 👊
Tabs????
Exercise is easier to play at its natural speed than at a slow hhhh
