Dude I know whatcha mean but I am also really happy with their success, like ya gotta be happy for em' but I actually love their songs with the rough audio. Rose was cool for them to do and I like both versions of the revised songs but ya young punk 4ever
Yeah I can dig rose. Idk bout the newer album they put out but regardless, I love the shit out if em. Like you said tho, I wish I found them sooner so I could've seen a show like this. Going to this show would've been a fucking dream man
Ditto dude. Their new album is definitely really poppy and it's a bit ironic because their whole DIY attitude was sorta contradicted in the sense that in the song The Plan (Fuck Jobs) "certainly sounds like the plan is to fuck a job on here because instead of just turning [their] life into you know some sort of 9-5 for some kind of big company [their] kinda turning [their] record into something like sounds like a 9-5 job." - Anthony Santano. Haha I totally agree with Santano though. I mean I did just see em' in concert again and the new album is definitely really great for dance music and it was awesome but this happens with most bands at this point. Also the new polished sound is cool but like I said I love and prefer the raw sound.
Shows like this exist literally everywhere. Go find the DIY/House venues in your area and support your fucking local scene. The Front Bottoms were a shitty local band that played shitty shows like this for years before anyone knew who they were. go find local bands that are super dope that no one knows exists and make their day by actually listening to their music and helping support them so that more great music can gain familiarity instead of some bullshit pop.
how awesome would it be to have TFB play in your garage in front of like 30 of your friends
@V B LMAOO SO TRUE
finding these old vids is what is keeping me alive
swag! swag! swag! swag! [starts playing 'Father']
Doing "Tina" off of Tyler's first album too
That guy who fixed Brian’s mic is an angel, also can we talk about Drew’s dance moves

Dude seriously. I miss the young punk front bottoms so much

NOO THE GUY POPPING IN AND OUT OF FRAME ON BEAT 7:17 LMAO
"alright, we're gonna play flashlight"
the swag chant really epitomizes the time period
That leading into them playing father😭
Years later, still one of my favorite videos on RUclips.
4:12 - father starts
This is amazing
What happened toward the end there, couldn't recall the chord progression to the song?
