The story about the flea just blew my mind first one I watched . Once you added the story I was hooked thanks for the great content. I truly love the world you're creating
God I wanna hear how this one carries on, there's no way we don't hear from Pilama or someone associated with their study in future!! Your world is so captivating!
I love the series, but the cliff hangers are gonna kill me. I'm a "read the ending of a book 1st" type of person. I keep hoping he'll circle back to the other stories and finish them.
Bro.... this isn't even a question to be asked. Everyone felt some emotional trauma at those stories... 😢 GB has way better stories than hollywood can come up with.
Nobody should be allowed to be this talented. The skills and thought and care that goes into the build itself is astounding. Then you take the same level of quality and you apply it to a video that is entertaining to watch. Then you surpass both of those and create an original short story that remains interesting and consistent with an ever expanding universe of other short stories. Amazing.
10:20 immediately thought of various sized hermit crabs scavenging for pieces from destroyed mechas/other tech to use as shelter. only recently found your channel. loving it
Love to see all the new techniques that you experiment with. The painstaking effort you put into that centipede was worth it. This video series is a masterpiece!
I started to miss your videos so I went to see if you had posted anything and to my surprise you had one premiering. Now that I had a chance to watch, I can’t wait for more. Great job! I really look forward to your books or whatever route you take for your stories. And if you do write your books please narrate them because you have an amazing voice and give your characters so much life
I find myself time and time again wondering. Which aspect of your videos are the best. Is it scratch building\kit-bashing? Is it the intricate growing story or the way your voice changes to give us a sense of other characters? Your video's are one of the few I am excited to see on my feed and makes me wonder. If I should rewatch all of your videos and document your stories to see how everything connects. Keep it up, you are definitely someone who has a vision for this.
Thanks! I still consider myself such an amateur at every single aspect you've mentioned, but I can feel progression as I go, which is encouraging. Still so much to learn!
I love that the short story is told when you do the painting. You doing that has helped me to not only focus on the video, but also draws me into the story as everything comes to life. I look forward to what you do next!
I gotta agree with many of the other people here who say that watching the final project come to life through the paints, accompanied by the short story really animates the entire video. The story feels more like a history, or a current event, rather than some fiction out of a book or game. Still, if there ever is a game that lets one explore Aegis I would be happy to play it. Thank you for sharing this phenomenal world building with us!!
noooo i cant belive i ran out of videos, discoverd this yesterday by watching the previous video about the logger. then went back and watched all of your videos. this is simply, extrordinary, its the first scifi world i can whole heatedly love, this is what early warhammer lore must have felt like when it was being written !
I really love seeing how much your skills have grown. The mushrooms in this build are stunning and incredibly well done and so different from the mushrooms in earlier builds. I love your videos!
I love the growing number of different techniques and media you incorporate into your work! It’s really inspiring to watch you grow as an artist, and I like that we’re getting more and more of the political background of the world.
I've been watching the Beyond the Blight playlist for the past few days, and while I adore the mechs and robots I really really like the vibrancy of the colors in this build. A strong contender for my favorite so far!
a scene where nature is reclaiming a small out-post for travelers. like a very rural desert motel/cafe/gas station combo. Curious to see how the random plants & animals left in the small island of abandoned humanity have affected eachother in a small oasis type setting.
Aah! It's here! I can't watch it immediately because of my boring life, but I am coming for it! :) EDIT just watched it and I am once again impressed by your incredible attention to detail and quality. I can't wait to see how it ties in to future stories and builds! Keep up the good work 😊
Stunning! I see how the bolder colors and black base changed the expression, almost to something cartoonish (Not a diss, I am very fond of the SW cartoons, and this has definite Clone Wars vibes!). Can't wait to see where these critters will take us. :)
absolutely in love with this universe. would you ever consider making an artbook with your concept arts? i know it's probably difficult considering the universe is still expanding but i think it'd be so cool
Another masterpiece good sir! I love that you are not afraid to try new techniques or new processes to create something we've seen before. Those laser cut leaves turned out phenomenal!! If you placed this one inside a humid glass enclosure I am sure that this would fool a real entomologist at first (or even second) glance. Once again a captivating story that has me screaming for more. Sadly, I'll just have to wait until the next one. Keep up the great work sir!! 👍👍
So happy to have the Flea poster and a bunch of stickers from you! Would be super awesome to have some scientific illustration style drawings of more of the flora and fauna of the world! Thanks for letting us follow along on your journey through the development of this world.
Oh I've always wanted to travel to Chokkara. I've heard strange and beautiful things. Humid forests with fungi and ferns and moss are my favorite habitats, personally.
Just thought I'd share, that I'd highly recomend using some various cutoffs of fish tank scenery for tropical leaves etc. I used some for a diorama and they're perfectly scaled for 'Alien' worlds (i.e. big leaves)! As always the videos are wonderful, please keep up the amazing content!
These might be the coolest crafting videos I have watched. Your work is amazing, your detail is perfect and I even get a short story that’s so well voice and wrote that it feels like I’m listening to a Micheal Criton audiobook! Love this!
(Some constructive criticism here) I think putting the rest of the “auto mechas” body somewhere in the ( insert word I don’t know how to spell here) to give the viewer a sense of what the centiboy can do.:)
These story’s are so good, along with the art. Both are truly amazing, and gives me a lot of inspiration to try to make my own world through diorama. Also the way you made the mushrooms for the tree was pure genius.
dude... all i can say is your are truly one of a kind. stunning stories, build and just pure talent man. i look forward to your videos every month because each one just blows me away. you are one awesome dude and dont ever stop what your doing man. its one of a kind and i hope it takes you far in life :D
I love this world that you have created. It's so cool to watch the concepts come to life, and hear the narrations. @ 9:20 I had that same thought about the cream cheese. 😆
Such an awesome diorama as always, and great story as well! Also, I'm definitely going to copy your technique for the tree... I just finished sculpting a tree for my latest diorama, and it was a bit of a nightmare lol.
Loved every thing about this one! I'm impressed with the paperwork. So much time goes into things like that and I fully understand the scale of the job. Trying to make things simple but then creating more work for yourself in the longs run. Also very interesting how you made the mushrooms that look like a wood conk or turkey tail. I love fungi and creatures. This one was right up my alley! Excellent work my friend as always
Thanks man! You are so right about simple things being super complex. Also, nature is so much more challenging than mechanical stuff, which can simply be kitbashed!
@gameyybuilds well you always do such great work. Not just your art, but also you're cinematography, an all the details added into your editing compositions. From one little walley scratch batch to a large channel on the scene. You're work inspires me!
This was great! Love all the interesting techniques. Pushing yourself to try something new in every video is what drives this hobby forward. Keep on doing what your doing Eric 👌
It looks great! What an amazing build! Are all these dioramas you're creating once finished, come together to make one huge diorama, like pieces to a puzzle? If not, having built multiple dioramas that would be puzzled together to create one big cohesive scene would be so cool!
The stories fit together like a puzzle pieces, but not the builds themselves, since they are from different regions, time periods, and at different scales.
All my music is purchased with an Artlist.io license. Writing the book has been a slow process due to focusing most of my free time on these builds and videos, but it’s coming along. Sometime in 2024 is my best answer.

The builds, the stories, just incredible. How this channel isn't rivalling Boylei at achieving a million subscribers is beyond me.
Thanks, that's very kind!
The story about the flea just blew my mind first one I watched . Once you added the story I was hooked thanks for the great content. I truly love the world you're creating
Glad you enjoyed it! (There's a follow up story called "The Mender" in case you missed it)
Possible diorama build idea. A mech graveyard. Essentially a junk yard of old mechs.
God I wanna hear how this one carries on, there's no way we don't hear from Pilama or someone associated with their study in future!! Your world is so captivating!
i know right
I can't wait to see how this story connects in a future build.

@@JessiFayS It's like reading Douglas Adams. Two volumes later, the backstory for what you thought was just a throwaway line, reveals itself! :)
Has anyone else cried when hearing the story ? The Flea and the last orange tree wrecks me .
Bro.... this isn't even a question to be asked. Everyone felt some emotional trauma at those stories... 😢

I was captivated by Aegis, now you add a giant centipede. Now I'm like, screw that, let the blight take the world 😂. Awesome build.
Nice to see you making a non scrap build every once in a while
Edit: Finished watching the vid and oh my god that looks absolutly stunning!!!!!
This has been such a fun series to watch, in terms of both story and physical process
I love that the short story is told when you do the painting. You doing that has helped me to not only focus on the video, but also draws me into the story as everything comes to life. I look forward to what you do next!
The model is excellent, but the story I think is your best world building to date. I'm kind of hooked on Beyond the Blight

Beautifully done 😊😊😊
Thank you so much!!
@@gameyybuilds you are welcome 🤗
Your builds are so amazing, maybe you could build a lab where a robot discects a centipede :)
Really love this idea!
What a gorgeous little fella, I enjoy his centipede-adjacent form, and his gorgeous colours

On toadstools, the white specks on top come from the "egg" that the mushrooms come from, not spores. Those come from the gills.
