Looks like the 9174 was pretty decent! Iv just put a 9174 t4 split pulse 1.05 on my barra with a Artec manifold, it is awesome 440rwkw at 16psi at 5800rpm 98 octane, nice and responsive for its size.
Honestly I would go billet from here. Id say the cast one he has will be a while till its proven and it will also be pricey I think. Unless it was around 2K - 3K I wouldn't waste the time/money. Time is the biggest factor these days. Best to go down the proven path.

So many options its hard to say. All depends what you want. Ill look through youtube and see what others have done and find something you want to match.
Yeah its just bullets billet rb26 but because of the design allows for a 3L with larger bore over the cast rb26’s limits. However the new prp block will allow for a 3L setup also due to its increased bore thickness. Think its called the Bullet Streetzilla

@@DriftSquid to be fair squid , at the power levels your making for drifting after 750hp doesn’t the power feel the same at 1000hp for drifting , cause the wheel is off the charts at those power levels Look into it I reckon the rb30 will live there stronger than the 26 better to ask chia as his the pro but that’s my opinion 👍🏼
I have the EFR 9174, same turbo on an RB26, but I make another 200kw at 4000rpm, and a bit more up top. Why is this engine so lazy? Because of the crack in the block? Aren't you running a cradle?
@@DriftSquid CRD, 26psi 110krpm turbo speed. Full boost by 3500rpm holding to 8500rpm. 1psi from 1800rpm. 1.05 rear. 2mm os valves, 272 cams, full port, gas ported pistons, fire rings, E85 of course.
@@DriftSquid every time I go out I break something, and I have a bad habit of not hitting record on my helmet cam. So no videos with this engine. It's getting gearbox rebuilt :(
