Rabbi Katz received a BA in Sociology and a minor in Architecture from Yeshiva University
A Master's degree from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work, along with a certificate in Jewish Communal Service
And earned Rabbinic ordination/Semicha from Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS)
Previously Rabbi Katz worked as an assistant rabbi for the Riverdale Jewish Center and as Executive Director of the Kansas City Community Kollel, teaching hundreds of classes and running Jewish programming throughout the community,
Currently, Rabbi Katz serves as the Rabbi of the Young Israel of Oak Park, Michigan.

My favorite saying from the Kotzker Rebbe: " find me 10 jews who can go up a roof and shout aloud sheme israel .... for real"
What he meant by that, from my understanding, we say pesukim and are praying everyday, but we dont really mean it.
Maybe there is a different explanation about this phrase.??
