These came out very nice looking. I would omit the peppermint on peanuts because I don't think they go well together but I love the idea of making peanut clusters. I would have to melt the chocolate first somehow and add the peanuts, since I don't have a slow cooker. This is versatile and looks good.
Instead of peppermint which isn't a great partner for peanuts, you could crush some hard toffee/ caramel candies to sprinkle on top. But leave peppermint out of the mixture.
I love all your recipes i wish you had a cookbook i would buy it. Thank you for so many good ideas. I am watching from salt lake city Utah. Happy thanksgiving
So many harsh comments! Hope you can ignore them! I appreciate you putting this online :) Never thought to make chocolate melt in a crockpot with other yummys for candy potential, especially for gift giving. Thx!
Why not make the chunk of chocolate smaller? Could be done in a much shorter amount of time. Also why use a crock pot? This could be done on the stove in less time.
What a great idea! You can get really creative with this recipe, like mixing peanut butter chips or adding m & m's to it at the end... for a colorful candy
You Used peanuts 🥜 not nuts. Maybe you don't know, like so many. Peanuts are legumes not nuts. Nuts grow on trees. Now you know so you shouldn't make that common mistake again.
Yeah yeah. It doesn't matter that they are legumes. We eat them as nuts. Some call them ground nuts because they come from the ground. Just go with the common use.
I am not a fan of peppermint and I don't think peppermint and peanuts would be good together chocolate and Peppermint yes peanuts and chocolate yes at but not all three together
I don't know how u keep coming up with all these fantastic ideas. Those will b a great addition to our Thanksgiving gathering. Justine, have u ever used the crockpot liners. They're like a plastic bag and help keep the crockpot clean??
@@emmel4fun like the previous lady said, the clay/ceramic liner pulls out from the heating unit. Normally mine washes up kinda easily. But sometimes I get a crusty burnt Edge on the top. A real bummer cleaning.
So, there are many possibilities with this recipe. Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure 😊
I like this. I might use butterscotch pieces because I don't like mint, but this recipe is wonderful. Thank you Justine.
I would leave peppermint out but looks good❤❤❤
Interesting 🤔 not sure about mint and peanuts- even though I love both- maybe I’d have to try 🤷🏻♀️ thanks for the treat idea! 🎄
I agree. I prefer the flavors separately.
I love both as well but not together.
Love a crunchy treat
Love peppermint
Not gonna knock it until I try it
Tks for sharing
Hope you enjoy😜
"Don't knock it 'til you try it" my dad used to say.
I love peanuts and these treats are jam packed!

Maybe one day! Thank you☺️
Looks delicious! I am thinking maybe a mix of nuts would be amazing too! ❤️😃🎉

Looks good!!😋
That looks wonderful 😋 😊❤
Peanuts and peppermint? Nah. Butterscotch chips instead? Yum.
Where did you get the Christmas Spatula???
When she's using it a link appears on the screen. It's from Target.
I wonder if adding some marshmallows would be good as well. Thanks for sharing. 🎄 🌸
I would also add raisins-- love raisins with chocolate.
This is dangerous 😮. I'd eat the entire thing❤
WOW great idea can't wait to try it Thanks Justine
You are so welcome!
Not with peppermint
Why not😁
I think it would be good
WOW!
Would rather have m n m s at the end.good one Justine! 😊
Yes. That would go better with peanuts than the peppermint. And they had them in the house. Her husband just made a recipe using M & M's.
Peppermint with peanuts, not a good flavor combination, no thank you.
I have a good pallet and agree they don't go together
They sound good to me. ❤
I didn't think so either. I LOVE peppermint but it doesn't sound good with peanuts.
Zeno, exactly what I was thinking too!
Justine, did it really taste that good? Peppermint and peanuts?
Hi Justine!❤
Hello☺️
❤🎉😊❤🎉😊❤🎉😊❤🎉😊❤🎉😊❤
Hi Justine🎉 Very nice treat. Yummy 😋

My son is allergic to nuts, can i use oats instead?
Danny, dont tick Justine off she was LETHAL with that rolling pin
Yes!
Looks good. I am definitely going to make it. Thanks for sharing.
Hope you enjoy!
❤ VERY CUTE!!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
Happy holidays!😋
Smaller balls would be better.
How much did that cost to make?
Quite a bit 😉
Is this a joke .
Should of made them thinner and it wouldnt of been so hard to bite 😮
I’ll have to try that next time🤗
❤❤❤❤❤
The salt from peanuts goes great with peppermint chocolate have had this before thought same as others peanut mint not good but was fantastic
Yum
what would be a low sugar option?
Lily's brand has a lot of options including chocolate and mint
Can't have peanuts, won't eat mint, I'd have to substitute everything but the chocolate 🍡🍥🍬🍫🍭
Looks so delicious and yummy too 🎄☃️❄️☃️🎄
Thank you 😋
@justineskitchen You're welcome ☃️
Use another Nut! Almond or Walnuts!❤
I’ll try that next time☺️🤩

Peppermint and peanuts. Creative!
Thank you😆
HORRID! I love both, but not together.

@@lesley1856 It does matter. Accuracy is very important. Especially if you're going to have a cooking channel. The correct terms are important.

How do you wash a slow cooker from the inside when not using a liner? I don't have one.
@@emmel4funthe cooking vessel is an insert
@@LilD7715 I see. Then it's not much of a problem to wash it, though a liner would be easier.

:18 Did she say peanuts?
