polishbroadcast I use my GoMic for recording my acoustic guitar and my vocals. The -10 db setting works best (this mic is super sensitive and clips when recording guitar if not in -10 db mode). Works great for both. Just plug in your headphones to monitor and move the mic around until you find the 'sweet spot' for whatever instrument you're recording.
@jose060789 the camera connection kit only works with the iPad. I don't think they have a USB interface for iPhone. Check out the Mikey Digital from Blue Microphones.
@markster06 there are no USB to iPhone interfaces I'm aware of. the USB Camera Connection kit I used only works with iPad. Check out the Mikey Digital from Blue microphones
Iam having the same problem as thetrigger911. when i plug in the camera adapter but it mutes all sound when i do that. how do I fix this issue. I see the meters moving but again during play back there's no sound.
Hello, thank you for the video, I did it all but the mic's light doesn't light on? What can I do?

@polishbroadcast I have not tried miking any instruments yet, but for vocals, the quality is pretty good.

@thetriggers911 when the GoMic is attached, all audio routes to the headphone jack on the mic itself
@MrRocque, there is nothing wrong with the USB cable that it came with. I just so happened to have my own when I filmed this tutorial.
Hi! can i connect go mic to ipod touch 4 with the same set up that you do?
is it possible to use the Samson GoMic with the iPhone?
@Giothraxx sorry for the late reply, I haven't had the power issue come up at all... how long do you have it plugged in until you get that message?
Thanks for posting this. What do you think of the quality when recording instruments.
Yep, still works!
PHlug it right into your i PHad. Talk around the mic not directly into it if you dont have a pop filter.
Is this a hot mic to record different frequencies?
hi can i use this for my samsung tab pro with the same setup?

what's wrong with using the included usb cable that came with the microphone?
What about using it with a direct usb to lightning (or older) cable?
@tkantone do you have headphones plugged in? it routes all the audio to the headphone jack on the GoMic itself
Does this still work with IOS 5? They brought the power down from 100mA to 20mA since ios 4.2.
