As live action becomes more and more impossible, I feel 3D animated version is absolutely ok. Photo realistic animated version of JL2 and JL3 would be totally satisfying.

I've been saying this for years. Animation is the way to go for the Snyderverse to continue. This means you won't directly be competing with James Gunns new Live Action, The actors and Actress's don't have to worry about age or fitness, You can can also go more graphic without worrying as much about consequences. Please let Snyder and the team continue it in Animation.
At least we’d get the rest of the story. But it is a bummer Snyder’s vision was cut short.
I'd totally be cool with this. I've long accepted that it's not happening in live action but I'd be down for animation with the original actors voicing the characters. A comic adaptation drawn by Jim Lee would be pretty kick ass too.
Of course live action is preferable, but I would be excited for an animated continuation.

I say release the Ayer cut and the second filmed ending of the flash and then work in animation from there
I am all for continuing the Snyderverse in animated form. More likely to happen with animation. Most likely at Netflix.

@@DoxajustReacts They already have. Many DC titles (Man of Steel, BvS, etc.) were recently on Netflix. Wonder Woman and Shazam are currently on Disney+.

2:49- Let's be honest: insiders and studio heads would find a way to lambast Snyder fans anyway, as they've done in the past. I doubt that mindset has changed, especially under Zaslav. Meanwhile, though many of us would prefer live-action, animation would probably be a workaround of getting all of the cast members back together.

Just look at that bit they did with Zack Snyder on Teen Titans Go. That was pretty good for 2D animation.

I would love to see that happen. License it to have all the cast back for their likeness and voice acting. Absolutely brilliant storyline and have a dedicated focal director for it and that is Zack Snyder.

This is definitely the best way to do instead of doing a comic book. I don't imagine we're not getting it in live action anytime soon. I would love to have Man of Steel 2 like the first movie definitely deserves a sequel.

Oh man... Please forget it. It's not going to happen. Gunn sees it as a threat for his new universe. He would never approve it. He hasn't even approved the Ayer cut of Suicide Squad, which he considered once. He wouldn't stimulate snyder fans again, now that he's starting to raise the hype for the new Superman.

If Zack says its the only way, then fine. A lousy compromise, but better than nothing.
It would need to be top drawer animation, but not cartoony, i would want to see close resemblance to the actors and have as many of the original actors back as possible for voiceover.
That being said, it would do nothing to restore any of my goodwill towards WBD or DC and i'd still be done with Gunn's DCU.
Definitely as You said Live Action or Nothing we want to see DarkSide in live action....
NO cartoons. F*ck that sh*t. We want Cavill, Affleck and Gadot back. They can even be pefectly de-aged (if necessary) with the technology we have nowadays.

I don’t think the Snyderverse was completed in animation, I don’t like the idea, I prefer in live action.
I think this is a great Trilogy Zack Snyder Justice League and parts II and III never been complete.
Warner Bros is creating a new Universe and those movies at this moments still out.

It’s not like I know I won’t think is animated film would be good but I think I would rather have them live action or nothing. It’s the visual storytelling from the actors carrying out that I enjoy . It’s just not the same. I’d be really disappointed.
Realistically, live action probably won’t happen. Animation or graphic novels are the best bet for the Snyderverse
If this is the only way, at least bring the live action actors back for voiceover lines. And make the characters look like the actors as close as you can. I would be down for sure.
If Netflix isn’t gonna license the characters to finish it live action then I suppose high budget animation films like Into the Spiderverse and put into the theaters that would be ok. Not nearly what is deserved to the fans but at least we get some sort of closure.
But if they do basic animation, straight to video, pass. That would be disrespectful.
OMG this would be so amazing, personally I'd love to see it in the Resident Evil - Damnation or Degenration style of animation/cg. I think it would suit Snyders style (with the slow-mo in action sequences) and play into the type of effects he will be comfortable with straight off the bat. The quality of types of films has increasingly gotten better and better than cut scenes from games.
I for one would rather see these movies completed rather not being able to see them at all I just don't get that ideology at all. I would pay to watch it, even if it means select cinemas, the travel would be worth it. I really hope this picks up momentum, let's talk about this more.

As long as we get the story complete, that’s what matters to me. I think animating these last two movie (and maybe more) would be cool. You also mentioned comic books which I think would be really fun as well!

I disagree. Fans wanting to see the Snyderverse completed is NOT entitlement. That's absurd. Fans applying pressure to the studio to complete the trilogy is no different than the pressure applied to finish the Snyder Cut. It was a sign that there was a real movement interested, and the studio would have profited from it had they listened to the fans.
Also, Zack is the one who wanted his cut to be completed. The studio would have been fine if Zack's cut was like the Richard Donner Cut. Incomplete scenes, etc. Zack got the studio to agree to complete it, and it profited the studio for having done so. -OG

On the topic of 3D, Snyder also could animate them with 'Unreal Engine 5'. Cinematic (Kinda LA) + Animation. Win-win ✨
We don't deserve the Snyderverse to come back. There's a lot of messed up people in this "fandom" and a lot of bad things came about in the DCEU. I don't care if we actually do get Henry Cavill, Zachary Levi or Dwayne Johnson back in here, that chapter has been long dead and people are going keep on wanting more and more from WB. It's a death wish at this point to continue that old regime.

You mean that when the studio hear the fans wanting a live action version, they ignore it and did not make it; but when they hear the same group of fans not wanting an animation version, the studio take it seriously and obey the idea of the fans? I don't understand the logic here. In this situation, shouldn't the studio be blamed, but instead, you blame the fans for this? Really a strange idea, IMO.

if we get animated Snyder verse it isn't going to a theater, its going to be 2D and direct to dvd or streaming like all the other animated movies. maybe because it's Snyder we'll get quality animation like in the 2000s with superman doomsday, crisis on two earths, or even superman/shazam the return of black Adam. the black Adam one is a perfect example to show of the animation action as they actually used references of real MMA fights for the choreography.
I just want conclusion and closure. unleash it animated and Ayer cut and maybe Batfleck film turn animated?

I love the update and love the excitement you have for this and I support it but i definitely won’t go yelling from the mountain tops for an animated Snyder cut continuation but I’d gladly take it and I’m sure I’d enjoy it. The whole thing has gotten so ridiculous that I’ve moved on. I wouldn’t be negative about this prospect but I’m not going to spend any more energy with expectations and excited over a snyderverse continuation (animated, live action or graphic novel) it’s just been too disappointing over the years to see what was clearly the best direction and clearly an amazing set of movies get thrown to the curb like week old trash and smeared to no end by the studio and many other superhero movie fans who just like to be anti about anything so they picked Snyder’s work and his fan base.
I'm in if....IF they CGI the ENTIRE THING. That way if done correctly, the characters would still be the same age as where they left off in ZSJL. But if nothing else, I'll take hand drawn animation as a consolation prize. Still would be nice to get a live action flick, but at the very least if they do in fact go forward with this animation idea, please have the original actors' voices playing the roles. Thank you!!

I think a anime 2D style animation with some 3D elements like Attack on Titan or Invincible is a way better style for The Justice League.
Considering how quickly AI animation has developed, it would certainly be possible to create your own Snyderverse films in a few years' time. 😀
BTW, Animations like the 'What if,' of Marvel would be great, because its almost like a Live action Movie.

I think direct to DVD would be better. I wouldn't get Netflix or go to a theatre but right to Blu Ray or 4K I'd buy it, same with Michael Keaton he's done voice acting so a Batman Beyond animated trilogy with him as old Bruce Wayne would be awesome. Affleck & Keaton could do other Batman project's just doing Voice acting I think.
Not to mention, since Flash and Mera play bigger roles in JL2&3 storyboards, they can get around that by just recasting them in animation, in live action it might be distracting, but in animation they can get around that by using voice actors. Think about it, was anyone distracted about the voice actors of X-Men 97 not being the same as the original series? No, bc you still buy that they are the same characters

As much as I want to see the whole story completely finished I’m down to see how ever it would happen. But if they do it in animation I want all the original actors to voice their characters at least give us that. I would love animation. There is a person I been seeing on Instagram that has been doing “realistic videos” of what the movie can look like and man that dude is talented as fuck. I think his videos are also on RUclips as well I just don’t know how name to his page. But back to my comment, even if it were to be a graphic novel I’ll take that as well and add it to my DC collection and maybe hopefully one day I can meet the guy and maybe he can sign it for me. I just doubt it’ll ever happen cause James ego is too big and he doesn’t want that over shadowing his DC projects cause he knows all the attention would be on Zack and not him so I doubt we’ll ever get that to happen

Animation would be a fantastic route, for sure. I would definitely take Justice League 2 and 3 in animation. But I have something for everyone to consider and even more to say, but I’ll spare you a long read - everyone was spoiled by the Spider-Verse films. Your average audience will gravitate to that more than a 2D-animated film because of the impact Spider-Verse made. I’m almost convinced that if it isn’t done in CG, your average audience won’t gravitate towards it. I know shows like Invincible exist and there’s an audience for that, but you have to remember - Invincible is long-form television, Spider-Verse is not.
Basically, I’d love for an animated continuation of ZSJL.

It seems not everyone is happy about this matter of Zack Snyder finishing the JL trilogy in 2D animation or 3D animation . Many action movies are being made with stunning VFX and CGI so much that we would think its real. And with CGI there's no limits of making epic fight scenes and stuff. The limit will be your imagination.
So i think since WarnerBros doesn't want us to have Zack's vision finished in a live action and who knows when they'll approve for the live action and by that time many of our beloved actors who fit so perfectly to the DC characters will be older. How about they make an animated movie in full CGI.
I mean it's possible right? Like if we look at The Lion King 2019. That movie made a whooping $1 Billion at box office and soon will be getting another one called Mufasa.
So what if they make Zack Snyder's Justice League in full CGI and have our actors as voice actors instead?

I must say I am in the live-action or nothing camp. I have nothing against animation in general, but if they animated this, I would still be left thinking "Oh what could have been?". It just wouldn't satisfy me, especially when Snyder's movies have some of the best visuals I have ever seen.
Henry Cavill would be so down for this too. And you wouldn't have to sweat it too much about the budget either.
