Yes, it is eerie and unusual because rarely is guitar mobilized to score films. Maybe I'm wrong...?

Actually enjoyed this "Grindhouse" Serial Killer flick. Jack - the - Ripper narratives, their "Mommy" issues / Misogyny, never cease to enthrall filmmakers and audiences. Violated is Enhanced by its on-location NYC filming and gritty cinematography that takes on a marvelous patina and Nostalgic feeling 7 decades later. One recognizes it was all filmed Pre-World Trade Centre. Gardner, the Reporter is played by the long-lived Michael Keane (1909 - 2008) aka Mike Keene-----who also played Arnold, the Father, in Satan in High Heels (1962), another classic Grindhouse Sexploitation pic.

The Unknown William Holland looking psycho enough as the Killer but one wonders how Lilli Dawn ever made it into Burlesque and this film with a rotund figure like that..
