Thank you for posting this. Looking forward to more videos. I saw your presentation that was featured in Bernadette Banner’s video. I was disappointed we didn’t get to see you demonstrate the hair wrap technique. I’d also love to see the other styles that imitated White Americans. I’ve seen a few examples of men in portrait paintings but it would better to them in motion especially women’s styles which aren’t featured as often. Keep up the great work!
I did want to ask you. I hope you don't mind. With everything that has been going on, how do we stay culturally sensitive in our hobby? I sometimes will play a northern Artillery solider and get ask all the time why I fight. The crowd is usually amazed that I say because it's my job. My unit was regular army. They usually want to hear the answer of to free the enslaved people. I usually say something along the lines of not really. I don't want them coming here and taking my job. Yet I want to make sure that I am not offending anyone and also that I am speaking from a position of cultural sensitivity. Any other ways? Thank you. Evelyn
Thank you for posting this and I’m so sorry that some people have been inappropriate towards you or other historical interpreters.
What a great video and channel. Was introduced by Noelle of Costuming Drama!

You have such a great way of story telling. I think you could teach the most reluctant learners.
True. I struggle with ADHD thus a short attention span and she keeps me hooked.
