I circled what the book had said, which was something along the lines of "does not succeed $250" (something to do with fines). The correct answer they had was 'less than $250". I told them, "The book says this." They were like, "No it's wrong..." My dad was there and he was like, "Less than $250 and does not succeed $250 are the same thing." I found the part in the book that said 'does not succeed $250.' The person behind the desk then called someone over and debated it. Finally, they looked over the book...looked over the answers, and were like "Yeah...you're right. Smile for the camera! Congratulations!"

Sheldon is actually correct. Those questions are questionable. I was getting my license in EU and questions were also sketchy. There was no way to answer logically, so I had to memorize the answers.
From what I remember from the time I had to do my theoretical, a lot of it is arbitrary agreed upon rules, with some logic to it but the phrases are often worded in such a similar yet different way that in some cases you had to memorize the right one... So for the most part I got why they asked certain things, though the way did it was sometimes nasty and I yet have to find someone who can explain why I, who wanted to learn to drive a car, had to know what rules people on Horseback had to adhere to... Though maybe it was just in preparation for the gas prices would go up a few years later.
I do believe that lady saying "Next!" is the same lady who signs Peter Parker into the wrestling arena who says, "This ain't no featherweight division here, small fry. NEXT!" Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. But you just know if it is that the writers are giggling in the background at their own irony.
