Loved this haul. I'm going at the beginning of November with my boyfriend a rescheduled trip due to covid :( where is the best place to ask for the free items?
As soon as you arrive in the main entrance area, go to the reception desk, they have the free passports there for collecting stamps and sometimes they put out the birthday badges to take for free but sometimes they put them behind the counter, so you can ask for one of those if they aren’t out. It doesn’t have to be your birthday at the time you are visiting, you can still get one. (If they ask if it’s your birthday you can say it was and this is your trip to celebrate if you feel uncomfortable about it) Also ask them for Harry’s Goblet Of Fire Paper Name Souvenir and sometimes they have Harry’s Acceptance Letter Souvenir too! There can also be other free things like book marks etc so just ask if there’s anything else going that’s new! They really don’t mind you asking. In the gift shop at the end of the tour when you’re paying at the till is also where you can ask if they have any free souvenirs or extra bags like I got! If you can be bothered to ask as many staff you see on the tour if they know about any free souvenirs as you may find something there too… The Chocolate Frog Cafe can give you free branded cups (and takeaway boxes if available).. Loved the video, Ive been 3 times and ging back in December. I also spend a fortune in the shop. I have the hufflepuff scarf and I also have newts scarf too which is exactly the same as one in the film.
Oh you’re so lucky to have been so much, I can’t wait to be able to go for Christmas one year soon… will this be your first time in December seeing Hogwarts in the Snow? I’m super impressed with the scarf!
