It was a misapprehension, when they registered her as a girl at birth; he must have had no male exterior genitals. That happens now and then, because of Differences of Sexual Development (DSD). Surely a chromosome test rather than a testosterone test would clear this up? Testosterone level vary and are present in males and females. But a Y chromosome is male, so anyone (identifying as any gender) who has Y chromosomes should default to male not female competition.

It's nice to see you got elementary school biology, but no, it ain't so. The chromosome itself is a bit of DNA, the "be-male" bit is a "gene" or coding part of the Y-chromosome, that bit can by accident have been moved to the X-chromosome or another chromosome, so you can get XX-boys, who can look fully male in all ways, but still have trouble with siring offspring. UNLESS you allow them to compete as ladies, a mere presence of a Y-chromosome (with a lost or noncoding be-male gene) should not be enough to be disqualified from womanhood.

Even Caster Semenya’s lawyer said the biggest advantage someone could have in sports if having XY chromosomes. I could take a shot of testosterone today and have high levels of it for a test. Whereas a man could take a suppressant that lowers his t level for a brief period. It would mean next to nothing for our long term performance.

Why only know saying that the test she took, and gave XY as result, happened under suspicious circumstances? Take that bloody test! They also never provided the test results. They also were a Russian organization that tested after she beat a Russian. I have no idea why my comment was removed but yes, her birth certificate has "female" and no, it was not forged. I don't think people realize that if she was actually trans, she probably would have never made it to adulthood, let alone to the Olympics, in Algeria.
Also keep in mind the only one who say she has XY chromosomes was the Russian backed IBA, which refused to share their results and tested her in the first place because she beat a Russian boxer. They used their tests to claim the victory false and give it to the Russian girl.
They have since gotten in trouble for falsifying results to favor Russians on multiple occasions. So, I would *highly* question their results since it seems a pretty clear case of corruption.
